Savannah Lodge

I spent a few days here.. I had the most fabulous time.. the host are .. well.. simply so nice. I almost stayed a few more days but all good things must end.

Staff are friendly, rooms are well appointed, there was a deck at the back of my room and plenty of wildlife wandering past. The staff are friendly and the bar and pool was inviting. Breakfasts were excellent

A little Oasis in a fairly remote town with nice cabins and a even a bar with reasonable drink prices. Pizza if you want it. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Small pool. And so green, an oasis indeed.

Stayed a week and didn't want to leave! Amanda is an amazing host and the beer is super cold and the pizza and garlic bread is divine. The gardens are a refreshing oasis in the outback and well maintained with losts to look at quirky little bits and pieces throughout the pathways.We had room service breakfast on our cabins' back deck surrounded by greenery and enjoying the wildlife - wallabies and birds. Get the tomato and basil - it is great! The rooms were spacious, sparkling clean and well maintained. Most importantly the beds were very comfortable and we had great nights sleep. Would highly recommend having a drink at the bar and having a chat - everyone is so friendly! A true credit to the owners.

Quiet little corner. Good size room. Has decent amenities. Fantastic breakfast and coffee. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Great cabins in an excellent location. The pizza (and beer) for dinner and bacon and eggs for breakfast are recommended. Amanda was very helpful.

Savannah Lodge was a real surprise. Nestled between well established, rain forest gardens are well appointed, spacious cabins. They are clean, fresh and cool. The quietness of this place is its real charm. Take time to sit out on the deck in one of the larger cabins to watch the bird and wildlife go bay. Breakfast can be served to your room or better still, eaten outdoors at 'The Dek' kitchen beside the pool. Amanda is a generous and friendly host and takes great pride in providing her guests with a first-class, experience.

Amanda and team have done a wonderful job bringing quality accommodation to a remote destination. Good food, cold beer absolutely worth checking out the oasis style accommodation.
