Shades of Pale has never looked better with so many fantastic items from the recent imported arrivals now in store. Bella & the team are very attentive to my requirements. They are able to help me with insightful advice that always has me leaving with a solution, new ideas and a smile.

Shades of Pale is the most wonderful French antique shop in all of Sydney. Customer service is exceptional. Bella and her team always go out of their way to make you feel valued and are so attentive to every detail. We are so fortunate to be able to access such beautiful treasures in Australia thanks to Shades of Pale. The warmth that you feel upon entering the store is like nothing I have ever experienced before. You feel part of the family. A rare trait in this day and age. I have no hesitation in recommending Shades of Pale to anyone who enjoys and appreciates gorgeous antiques carefully sourced from Europe. The passion for these items that are so beautifully styled is evident in every corner of the store.It truly is heaven on earth...

This is one of my favourite stores in all of Sydney and going there today reminded me just how much I love it, especially around Christmas time. The pieces and products are unique, tastefully selected and beautifully positioned around the shop. The ladies are helpful, understand their customers and have a great eye for design. You feel like you’ve been transported to France and never want to leave! And When you do leave, it’s impossible to go home empty handed! We need more family run small businesses like this one.

Shades of Pale is a store like no other, as soon as you walk in the doors its like you are transported to another time/place. I always think if the furniture could talk imagine the amazing stories we could learn of and the lifetimes they have seen. It is a truly magical place with stunning antiques, furniture, home wares, candles and much more. The customer service is second to none, it always feels good when you know your buying from genuine people who have such a passion for their work. If you haven't gone yet it is a must!!!

A truly unique store with something for everyone. The furniture and decorations are one of a kind. The tableware, candles and soaps I haven’t seen anywhere else and make great gifts and I can always rely on how special and unique their Christmas items are. Friendly and helpful staff.

What an absolute gorgeous find! Shades of pale is one of those shops you want to keep going back to. There is always something new and exquisite and unique to find to add to your home. The customer service is amazing and Bella is so attentive from the moment you walk in the door though to gift wrapping your purchases (excluding large furniture items). Although I prefer to be left alone when browsing, Bella does that while also making you feel welcome.

This store is the only place you need to go to for antique furniture/ luxury furnishings in Sydney! They are unmatched. The pieces are always so beautifully displayed and give you something to aspire to (if only my home looked like SOP). Bella is absolutely wonderful and her team will always go above and beyond to help you out. 5 stars all the way!
