Like a little Oasis,have been there a few times always great for a little getaway and relax whether it be fishing or reading a book.Did I mention food ,I've only experienced great meals loved the fresh trout risotto.

My wife and I did a six-month house sit in Anglers Rest in 2003/2004. I've just now read some reviews that bring back precious memories. We worked as kitchen hands at the Duck. In all it was one of the most enjoyable, memorable experiences of this old bloke's life!I've attached a photo of a staff luncheon, all warm friendly people.

Great hospitality in such a remote setting. Cabins were basic but warm and clean. Wine was cold and the fire was roaring! Thanks Leonie, Dave and Mike for a fun stay.

This place is so tranquil and serene. Go on a warm day to eat and drink outside. Fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Well worth the drive. Great get away from the city!

Had a great time there recently on a fly fishing trip. The staff and locals were really friendly and engaging and the chef prepared great food so highly recommend that you stop by for lunch dinner and a drink and stay a night or 2 in the cabins

A fantastic road trip destination.We were paying through on a road trip with our car club and booked ahead.The staff behind the bar were tentative and very accommodating of our large group and managed to prepare all our meals in a timely manner through our dinner sitting.Thank you for looking after us. We all had a great time.

We've been staying at The Duck for many years. We've always found Lana & Michael to be amazing hosts. Beer is cold, food is delicious & we love the Rustic cabins. Short drive to Omeo and so many fantastic tracks, relics & history to explore in the area.

Friendly laidback staff serving delicious country meals in a fabulous setting.You have to stop on your journey and try some Blue Duck hospitality.Can recommend the Steak and Guinness pie.Dipping hot chips into the perfect gravy and washing it down with a sturdy bottle of red is the best!
