A bustling and cosy restaurant.Slow service. It took 40 minutes from sitting down to getting the first dish. Unfortunately, the dishes came out separately and very slowly which meant once the last dish arrived (the kids’ dish) all others were cold.The yellow curry was delicious, though.

We bought 2 dishes online for takeaway. At the chosen pickup time the dishes had been ready and waiting for me for some time and they were not hot enough when I got them home.The duck with plum sauce would probably have been much better at the right temperature. The bok choy that came with it was stringy and hard to deal with.The stir fry was very light on for the signature ingredients in the title and was barely warm, let alone hot with chili or actual warmth.Overall, disappointing unfortunately.

Visited Thursday 5th JanuaryLast dinner at Avalon Beach before leavingService was absolutely amazingThis is what you call customer service, something that's been missing from majority of places that we have visited since the start of the pandemicThe wait staff greet you with smiles and allow us to choose our seating even though we haven't booked, they were delighted to show us inWe ordered Kai Satay (chicken skewers), Tofu Pad Kee Mao, Massamun Neua, and one old fashioned Tequila and Singha beer (why would you order anything else in a Thai restaurant?!)The chicken skewers, the chicken was tender and juicy with plenty of sauce. Downside was slightly too saltyThe Pad Kee Mao was portioned accordingly and would have been nice if by standard (according to the chilli on the menu) be actually a bit more spicy, but overall is a recommended dishThe Massamun Neua has a sufficient portion and the beef was tender and easy to chew, again the sauce was a bit saltyRoti was recommended by the wait staff to complement the Massamun Neua sauce, and the roti was not too oily and easy to eatThere wasn't enough alcohol in the Tequila and way too much ice

Best Pad See Ew I’ve tried so far, mouth watering, fresh, smokey - umami flavours. Great seating, warm service and chill atmosphere. Definitely a must try in this area.

We really enjoyed our food and thought it was reasonably priced. The restaurant seemed very busy, yet we were seated and our food was served quite quickly.

Very warm welcome by staff, with tables inside or out, it was a great spot for an authentic Thai meal. We had pad khee mao and chilli basil chicken. Crab cake entrees delicious.If in the area, worth a visit. We got takeaway containers for the parts of the meal we didn't finish, meaning we had a great lunch the next day.

Great meal at Bangkok Sidewalk today! Sam, Mimi & Nick used to have the Thai restaurant in Narraweena & we ate there often. They moved to Avalon so we drove there for lunch today for some of their yummy Thai food. Narraweena's loss is Avalon's gain!!

We had Green Curry, make your own duck in ginger sauce, nice nibbles ( spring rolls, rice paper rolls). Yummy all around. Great service.

Fantastic People. You will feel like you are part of the family. Their food is absolutely awesome perfectly balance flavours. Best Thainon the Northern Beaches by far. We always sit do we can see the kitchen working like clock work. Fast efficient and very clean. Do you taste buds a favour and wat here. You will not be disappointed.Simply spectacular Food. Attentive warm service and very reasonable pricing.
