Jessie's Riding Academy

My 11 year old son and his mate thoroughly enjoyed the two day school holiday camp this week. He hadn't ridden before and they catered well to building his confidence with an excellent young female staff and gentle, experienced horses. Good mix of working around the stables, mucking out, games and riding. Jessie runs a good, organised riding school. He loved it and, like his mate, will be keen to return!

My daughter has been having lessons at Jessie's for the past few months. I don't know how other riding schools operate, but the training, support, and care at Jessie's is really impressive. My daughter leaves every lesson having been challenged and feeling 10 feet tall! She is developing a real relationship with the horses through learning to care for them before and after her lesson. The main instructor we have worked with is Georgia, who I think the world of. She is patient and kind, yet firm, and in control. We have also had lessons with Zoe who really takes an interest in helping the students feel confident and competent. She manages to always appear interested in my daughters long and highly detailed stories. Jessie, I think, works with the more experienced riders. It's clear that everyone really cares for the horses and the students. We could not be happier with our choice of Jessie's Riding Academy.

We had such a fantastic time at Jessie's Riding Academy. They took care of everything, and were so hands on. No decorations required - the party room was all set to go. Kdis were too busy to notice though, as they absolutely LOVED the horse riding experience. They catered for all levels of enthusiasm, and whilst the other kids were waiting, had great games to keep everyone amused. My daughter (turning 7), had the most wonderful time, as did her friends. So glad I found this place. Thank you for a wonderful birthday!
