We had exceptional service from Port Phillip Garages, We needed an urgent VIC Roads safety inspection report. They fit us in that afternoon and were very friendly and affordable. We will definitely use this garage for our future car services.

Lovely people and they do a wonderful job. I took my car in for a service, and they called me to let me know I needed something major done, with quote, and asked did I want to go ahead. So good!!! Have become a regular since then- you just cannot beat these guys for personality, service, and price. Highly recommended.

I have both my cars regularly serviced with Port Phillip Garages, and I won't take my cars to be serviced elsewhere.The service on the cars is always professional, with the greatest attention to detail. If you are looking for a honest car mechanic, this place will not make you disappointed. I have had to deal with many different types of mechanics in the past. Many good ones. But Iyov beets them all, in honesty and quality. Don't go there if you are looking for a dodgy road worthy. This guy takes his business seriously. And so should we all when it comes to road safety. Great guy, grand service and good prices.

We had a wonderful experience with this mechanic. We live in a campervan and one day on the way to a job interview our car almost overheated but was leaking a lot of coolant. We went to one mechanic who pretty much told us to sale the van but when we went to Port Phillip garages the owner checked it out right away showed exactly what needed to be done ordered the parts and then gave us the estimate. Long story short they were quick friendly, straight to business and fixed the car in one day. The van is running very well now and we are very grateful for there help and advice!

Very good no nonsense & efficient service at a fair price. The first time I took my partner's car for a service the guys also knocked out an unsightly dent which was a very nice surprise. The second time we were given a courtesy car & Eof was able to save us over $100 in sourcing us a cheaper part in a matter of minutes. We have genuinely appreciated their great service and quality of workmanship.

I run a busy electrical business and it is imperative that our vans are always in top working condition. I have been using Eov and the team for over 10 years. The service is above average, but the after sales service is something that other businesses can learn from.I know that I know that with these guys my vans will be ready on time and I can trust that none of my tools will be taken. I trust Eov, Helen and their team completely with our family's cars, and have recommended their garage to many others. They are honest, hard-working, and will tell me if a particular repair is worth it or not. They make a special effort to keep their repair costs down while still putting in extra special customer service every time. And they have a courtesy car for me every time. All in all, it's a very impressive service.

A bit conflicted with this place. It seems they are very thorough with the work they do. They're certainly very informative and give great advice. However as a backpacker I don't feel its the right place to go. I was quoted quite a large sum of money on a few big fixes to my car. I read through the roadworthy requirements before hand and there were a few questionable fixes. Obviously its totally subjective and its the testers call on what they feel may or may not pass. The fixes were understandable but were very much borderline with the specs as to whether they were pass or fails. I ended up retesting at another facility and was quoted a much lower sum of money with the fixes I was not sure about not even appearing on the inspection sheet. Overall I think they're great for a long term customer. They certainly take pride in their work and do genuinely care for the customers, but as a short term/backpacker car owner I would do a lot of research into the best garage for you. I think its important to say that a backpacker friend of mine used these guys and had no issues, they quoted him a very reasonable sum for his roadworthy and he was happy. This isn't a negative review but just a heads up for those on a tight budget to do your research before you commit

My car broke down in St Kilda 4.00pm in the afternoon 37degrees C. Eov came to my rescue by patching it up enough to drive it to his workshop. In the meanwhile he had called and ordered parts to be able to fix it the very next day. It was ready for collection by 12.00pm the next day. He truly is a very kind and thoughtful person and aims to help and please. I am a very happy customer and would recommend this mechanic to anyone.
