Excellent place to stay highly recommended wish I could have stayed longer thanks

Spent 3 nights in the Stringy Bark cottage. Was perfect for my young family. Great kitchen facilities and a warm fireplace that was appropriately sectioned off to avoid any little accidents. Lovely views and owners that went the extra mile to accommodate any of our needs. Looking forward to staying again.

The location is superb as you are really nestled in the forest. Everything we needed for our little family for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

I recently had a truly sensational Shiatsu session with Phuong. She held a safe and nurturing space in the beautiful surrounds of their property. I'd never experienced Shiatsu before and I was amazed at how quickly I relaxed with Phuong's gentle manner and I continued to feel its effects for days after. I highly recommend you see Phuong for a Shiatsu session!

Yama Ki was absolutely breathtaking. From the turn onto Don Road, up the driveway gorgeous ferns on both sides of the road guide you to your accommodation. We stayed at Fern Lee Cottage and could not fault it. We requested a portacot and highchair, and they even provided linen for it, as well as cutlery/plates/cups for our child, and a basket of toys! It was a lovely touch. It was so hard to find accommodation that was child friendly and had amenities to make the trip easy for us, their extra touches were really appreciated.Moreover, it was refreshing to see a business that practices its ethos of sustainability and promoting local business. Their guide book of things to do/see/ local businesses was very informative.Perhaps the biggest drawcard was that you literally are disconnected due to the lack of internet coverage. However, the owners aren’t far away! We received a text message on the day of our arrival which was very thoughtful. We contacted them a few days into our stay, and they responded promptly.A lot of thought and effort has gone into Yama Ki to make it a true escape from the daily grind, and we look forward to returning!

Such a wonderful stay at Stringybark. Peaceful and quiet - a great opportunity to recharge. Appreciated the books and games available too.

A stunning location hidden away in the Don Valley. An opportunity to re-charge and reconnect with nature and its elements, all on full display. Eddy and Phuong are the perfect hosts and really made us feel welcome. Stringybark cottage was a delight, as was the intimate connection with the forest and all it supports including wallabies, parrots and lyrebirds. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was lovely and cozy and the beds very comfortable.The cottages are set amongst very beautiful bush and tree ferns and we especially loved the parrots that visited us each morning and allowed us to hand feed them.

It was a very comfortable little cottage . Great fireplace and plenty of wood to keep us warm. Great facilities to cook and also have a nice relaxing spa bath. Great hosts and had a beautiful shiatsu massage to end the weekend . We will definitely come again to relax and spend time with nature and the beautiful surroundings.
