Rays Room - Child and Family Therapy

Ray was absolutely fantastic. My daughter was dealing with lot of anxiety. Really impressed with how comfortable he made her feel and how he has turned things around for her in just a few visits. Very thankful for all the support and advise and tips given.

There is a degree of trust that one requires with a therapist. I was stunned at how quickly Ray earned mine. His approach was relaxed, warm - yet insightful and penetrating. The topics we covered were wide, yet logically linked. Each meeting was hard and confronting - but so worth my time. I feel that Ray was very capable of linking multiple issues, but keeping them separate and safe when needed. My experiences were always positive, which is asking a fair bit from therapy.

We are absolutely thankful for Ray's Room! Our Therapists Mrs Flavia Borgiani is one of the most fine, professional and knowledgeable therapists there is. Apart from being all that she is also a funny, warm and caring person who has given our family real solution and a peace of mind. Our child didn't want to come at first and now he is waiting for every session with anticipation. When your family is more The Simpsons vs The Von Trapp Family, and you reach breaking point, I highly recommend family counselling with Ray.Our family of five sat before Ray and it was a moment I will never forget, for each of us had the light shone on us, and while it can feel uncomfortable being in the hot seat, it was most powerful in reassessing each of our individual behaviours and the impact it has on our family's health and harmony.We are now collectively adopting Ray's time proven strategies and have found a better balance in our home. Importantly, should we fall back into the trap of failing to listen to each other and talking over each other again, we know we have a solution in Ray's expert mediation and open-ended appointment.

Ray has been wonderful for our family. We initially started seeing Ray as our little one is full of energy but lacked emotional regulation skills - this led to lots of conflict and angst in our family. Ray is extremely warm, friendly and quickly established rapport. He is very patient and makes you feel very comfortable which makes it very easy to open up to him. He also makes things fun when needed and my daughter loves going to see him.It was amazing how quickly he was able to determine our individual characteristics and how that fed into the family dynamic. He not only gave our daughter simple calming techniques which she uses every day, he also allowed us to see how we could ALL contribute to a better family environment. Although we are not the perfect family, life is much calmer for all of us.
