WOW.What can I say? If you actually look on the reviews on Google, 4 years ago there's STILL BAD reviews. How sad. Nothing has changed.First of all, JOB STATEWIDE MARION, called my work multiple times and LIED. One of the unprofessional workers from job statewide proceeded to say to my work, that they had tried to call me" but I have NO missed calls. They then kept on calling my work asking for information

Horrible, disgusting and vile atmosphere, the people who work here should be ashamed to say they do, they don’t do anything at all to help or progress people, happy to put people down in front of others, leave you on hold for hours if they even answer the phone. This place needs to be shut down immediately. After interaction with over 10 of their staff only one I found was ever helpful or somewhat human. How the government of funding their salaries is mind boggling.

Employment consultant Irene was rude , abusive and abrupt, made false accusations that I hadn't made any effort to find work, at a time when I was looking for up to 20 jobs a day. I had her on speaker phone, and others overheard her and were shocked by the level of her rudeness and arrogance. I had been in the workforce for decades prior to my wife becoming ill which meant I had to give up my job and care for her. I was a company manager for 5 years, for me it's unacceptable that such a person goes unchecked without disciplinary action. Another individual told a downright lie and claimed that she had offered me a full time job, completely false.Words fail me, this is a tax payer funded organisation, and they are an absolute disgrace!!My advise STAY AWAY you do have a choice to register with another agency, and please do your homework.

None supportive / shocking person center care / for my family member you have put them back after all their struggles / when you should have been assisting with your professional guidance.As long as you ( Statewide) have ticked a box it’s ok from the Government side of thingsAbysmal customer service and organisation

My partner was antagonised in person and behind his back by a female staff member today. He's been working very hard to become a youth disability support worker and her nasty attitude does not help his case AT ALL.

I arrived and the front desk was unattended. There was no bell to ring. I stood there, feeling ill - yelling”hello!” repeatedly...nobody came. Another client entered the lobby and found the bell across the room; on the floor. I placed the bell upon the counter and rang it. The gentlemen that came out appeared to be under the influence psychoactive substances. I told him I found the bell across the room to which he replied “yeh, someone threw it.” I guess he didn’t think to retrieve it, thus leaving the next client standing ill with swollen glands, at the front counter shouting to no avail. I gave my paperwork to the gentlemen who said he would make a mental note of filing it, and tried to return the documents to me. I had to direct him to photocopy the paperwork,as per company policy.Overall a taxing and exhausting visit to Jobs Statewide at Oaklands Park.

If you have a choice, do not go with Jobs Statewide. I have never had such a dehumanising, belittling experience as I have had here. They don't care about you as a person or getting you a job. They have even hindered my chances. You are boxes to tick. Nothing more. No one deserves to be treated as poorly as the people who go through the unemployment services are. It is disgusting abuse of power.

I was with these guys in 2017. I was going to put in a formal complaint, but at the time felt happy to just ask Centrelink to cut me off, when I secured a government job in my field. Having workers call and then make fun of clients in front of clients is highly inappropriate and shocking workplace behaviour. Staff were able to offer no help with my resume or options for upskilling, as my resume and education far exceeded theirs. When asked about a new government program several days after it had been announced in the news, my assigned “worker” had not heard of this, nor had her manager. The desire of workers to actually get clients into appropriate and long-term work was entirely absent. There was absolutely zero understanding of my honours degree and what roles might be appropriate, so I would be forced to attend interviews at entry level retail stores on the other side of town, without a vehicle or easy public transport access. I eventually found a government job I was in for many years and became permanent in, through absolutely no help of these absolute clowns. If we cut these leeches out of the system, we could provide a more liveable wage to those seeking work. Hiring salespeople for a job that should be done by those with HR or social work qualifications demonstrates the lack of desire this organisation has to actually support clients to secure and maintain appropriate employment. They just care about their own $$$

After over 10 years of managing mental illness by myself, I finally went and got myself diagnosed specifically so I could leave Jobs Statewide. While some of the staff are lovely, the Work for the Dole team that I have had to work with are terrible, with no empathy or consideration for candidates wants/needs/medical certificates, and less willing to help than a brick wall. After 16 months on the Newstart program, despite being an easy participant" I have not found work and have received no assistance from any staff at Jobs Statewide to find work. It has been a terrible experience that has completely ramped up my anxiety and stress levels

Very poor customer service staff promising over the phone will call you back with in hours but they will not call you back at all
