Elgas Port Macquarie

Disgusting customer service!!!Order 2 bottles on Saturday, called at 4:50 Monday afternoon as when I got home from work I had not received the refill cylinders. Was patched through to a remote location and was told I was unable to be transferred to port Macquarie. Lady on the phone advised that there was no order in the system, even though I had an email with my order and tax invoice. Lady advised she had just created the order while on the phone and to call back first thing Tuesdays morning to see if I was on the gas run for that day.Called at 9:30am Tuesday morning and was again patched through to a remote location and told that I would not be receiving an order until at least Wednesday because my order wasn’t placed until Monday night (when the lady replaced it) after telling them I had no gas and exposing what happened the previous day regarding my order not showing in the system and was advised Trish from the port aquaria branch would call me to advise an eta.By 1:30pm I still had not received and phone calls. Again after calling back I was told Trish wa shush and unavailable and they could still not tell me what day the gas bottles would be delivered. I was told “they could be there right now or they could be there tomorrow, who knows it could take a little bit”. My 2 year old did not understand when I told her the gas company said she could have a hot shower in a little bit or in days.Every single person I spoke to was rude, unhelpful. And unapologetic who wanted to take no responsibility for the poor service!This is the first time going through Elgas port Macquarie as our previous supplier Forster had who were AMAZING sold the business. Tuesday afternoon I called and cancelled my order with Elgas along with my account and made an account and order through supagas with PT trade supplies in taree. Who were amazing and delivered my gas today.I would NOT recommend Elgas especially the port Macquarie branch to anyone! Unless you want to wait up to a week for a delivery and be treated horribly.

Extremely poor customer service. No compassion or understanding to a family left with no hot water for days due to their mistake of not putting in an order, and their run was apparently too full to deliver us a bottle.Do not recommend and have gone elsewhere.

Used to be reasonable on deliveries. Not sure what happened lately though. Very hit and miss on deliveries Most recently ordered, and paid for, a replacement 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing yet. They won't even answer the phone, it either rings out or diverts to Newcastle office.

A local business that does not care. Not interested in their customer. ordered a bottle, paid for it, told delivery the next day. Nothing.Rang the ELGAS hotline, rang out for Port. Leave a message I did. No reply.Sent an email on their website, no reply. Nothing.Rang yet again, they answered!! We are busy, bad luck.I have already paid......Now another night and day with no gas. Five now and counting.....why would you use them?? My last order.

Absolutely hopeless.. waited for a gas bottle to arrive for 2 weeks when it didn’t arrive on the day it was supposed to. I specifically noted with them to let me know when it would arrive so I could unlock gates. No communication, I wasn’t home, gas bottles didn’t get delivered and apparently it was my fault.Got a refundI will get my gas elsewhereI suggest you do the sameCheers

There was an Elgas system in the house we bought last year in Port Macquarie, to run the gas cooktop. We decided to change to an electric induction cooktop, so I contacted Elgas to arrange for removal of the gas bottle. The whole process was handled very well, and dealing with the staff over the phone was a pleasure.

Finally got to order replacement cylinder on 23 June- third attempt as first two calls diverted to remote ELGAS locations and Port Macquarie office failed to call as promised. It is now 12 July and still no delivery!!! On three ocassions have received a text saying delivery coming the following day but it never happens. Port Macquarie ELGAS are completely hopeless and you would think Head Office would intervene, but no, this organization no longer seems to care about it's clients. So sad.

We have the Automatic fill service, we moved in y months ago and gas was filled day before we arrived. Always on time, driver is alway courteous and makes sure the gate is locked when finished.

If I could give a zero star rating I would! We ordered a bottle of gas on the 31st of May and it is now the 8th of June, and we have called 5 times now and we still have no bottle!Do not waste you time or energy on this company!

Ordered gas 15th June, told it would be delivered 2 days later, still hasn't arrived (2 weeks on). The last bottle also took over 2 weeks. Elgas used to be very efficient and always lived up to their next day service" but have dropped the ball lately. Pretty disappointing."
