Surprised to see such mediocre reviews, this has been our local and first choice for years now and I’ve never had a bad order. They get it right and it’s fresh (cooked to order) and hot every time! Be prepared to need to call a few times to get through on a Friday night as it does get busy but it’s worth it. They keep up with the demand well with friendly service.

One of the best if not the best fish&chips shop in the area, probably in Melbourne as well. Amazing food and fantastic customer service, the fish is fresh and batter is crispy, lamb souvlaki is mouth watering, shop is really clean. Highly recommended.

Just moved to the area and nearly didn’t try because of the unfair reviews. The grilled fish is absolutely delicious, fresh and not over oily like some. Standard order min chips + 2 potato cakes, 2 crab sticks, 3 dummies, 1 grilled & 1 battered flake was $34.A couple reviews seemed to be linked with service but we found it to be polite & 15 mins on a Saturday night. Better than the 2 local places we had living in Donvale and Albert Park.

Date/time of visit: 19 July 2022, 7:13pm (approx)This was a return visit; the review for the first visit is included below.On this visit we ordered a burger and a lamb kebab. The service was friendly and easy going. The burger was a great tasting fish and chip shop burger - very enjoyable. The kebab initially had a couple of dry bits of lamb and this concerned me; however, that was only in the first two bites, the remainder was a great tasting, tender lamb kebab. The wrap for the kebab, in my opinion, was a little small (in diameter) - it didn't really wrap completely around the contents. This minor issue didn't affect my enjoyment of the kebab. Will happily return.Date/time of visit: 11 July 2020, approx. 7:30pmExactly what we wanted after a couple of hours walking around Croydon. Flake was excellent. Chips were great. Yes, a simple order but very happy with it. Fast service.

Food was terrible, chips,potato cakes and spring roll was burnt and dry. Very unsatisfied with the quality. Would not recommend.
