Visited to resolve an issue where the cheque was made out to be paid to the doctor yet the invoice had been paid in full.Was greeted at reception who said that normally Medicare enquiries require an appointment but was happy to book us in when we explained we were sent into a branch by the phone service. Niina who saw us promptly resolved the issue and even provided exceptional service by going over and beyond by assisting us with combining our Medicare accounts into a family unit.Did not go in with high expectations due to other reviews but was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service and that we got our issue resolved with a short visit.

Absolutely ridiculous process. Visited the centre today as I have tried to call the contact centre roughly 15 times and each time I am told there are no operators available and to try again - then subsequently hung up on. When I spoke to the delightful guy at reception he’s tried to help me, although he’s stated that child care subsidy is a specialised area and he is not sure if they can help, only that they can direct my call to an internal line instead. He then has a dragon lady of a blonde beast come up behind him and say ‘remember your role, your role is to redirect only’ and he said it’s quiet, I have time, I can help her and she says ‘no, it’s not your job’. So here we have a compassionate person with integrity and customer service skills trying to help with an enquiry and he has a supervisor breathing down his neck demanding he not help me - even though he has the time to do so.I’d like follow up from this please.

Horrendous experience when trying to register for Centrelink payments following Domestic Violence. Staff refused to assist me to print a document or to help me. An Asylum Seeker recently left in tears after staff refused to assist, were rude & racially prejudice because of his skin colour. The security staff encouraged him to make a complaint as they witness this discrimination with all coloured males asking for help from staff. He contacted his Case Manager for support. No enough staff available & staff do not like contact with customers.

The male staff at check-in was rude and impatient. Didn't even give me a chance to ask any questions when I was the only customer there. And when I tried to ask him, he just asked me to go away and wait for the calling. Absolutely the worst!

Same experience! The worst centrelink I have been. I haven’t been to centrelink for 10 years, I was told by CentreLink Phone team to drop by to local branch to access a letter which was addressed to me. Jenny (the Team Leader) and another lady was NOT trying to help at all and asked me to call and said it was my business" not thiers.......and instead she asked me to leave for the day as it was close to their close time. Can't believe that as a hard-working tax-payer

Absolutely horrendous experience. Been there 4 times. Couldn't able to get the work done at least once.A staff member booked an appointment at 14:00 hrs and advised us that the appointment is scheduled at 4 pm. Bloody outrageous, just a waste of time attending the center.
