I called to get advice / payslips to deal with workers comp and ask advice around wages payments etc. I needed minimal questions answered but was made to drive there anyway (injured). Info still wasn’t given just sales talk. Was told not to bother claiming $3000 of job keeper incorrectly, delayed my workers comp claim for treatment by another 4 weeks, palmed me off to a book keeper who no clue about what I needed to know, when I chased it I was told it’s because I had not paid the proposal.. I had been chasing for 2 weeks for the proposal.. finally got it but was very vague, I confirmed it covered what I had discussed with him. Most of the agreed stuff was not done, just messages / calls trying to get the basic info I needed (which I didn’t really get) Wanted to charge a lot extra to do payslips (which he had told me were included in our meeting). I refused the extra and complained, I did them myself without the advice I needed from them 4 weeks ago. I spent many hours producing spread sheets of figures from my accounts as requested, non of which were looked at. Prepared very specific questions by email, ignored. They had calls with ICare (as agreed at the start when I was told they would handle everything) then they invoice me later another $550 for dealing with Icare. (That’s what I paid $880 for. In comparison other accountants told me $80-$150 for a years payslips for workers comp.. These guys said the $880 I paid would not come close to paying for payslips. Now different people chase the invoice but have no idea what it’s for, the owner doesn’t contact me, my detailed reply emails go un acknowledged or responded to other than 2 line Answers with ‘please pay invoice’. These guys are very scheming, they present very professional and are good at selling and being nice but they will create a situation to keep up selling over priced services. I’m fairly savvy with accounts so I saw what he was doing but most people would be led along to a very hi bill. So be very wary. If you have a lot of money to over spend on your accounts then it’s ok but if not I would look else where. I also would expect to get in line and be passed around a few times before you get dealt with.

This firm has ignored all my calls despite harassing me with 8 emails claiming I owe them money for an invoice dated 11 years old and threatened me with debt collectors and a credit default without identifying who they were. After 10 calls to them and notifying Fair Trading they decide to reply and identify themselves as a re-branded organisation i dealt with in 2012. They refuse to accept they have made a reporting error and continue to harass me for payment that I do not owe them. Be cautious of this firm - I do not recommend you deal with this unethical, untrustworthy and inaccurate business.
