Sea Star Apartments

We have stayed in pinnacles resort a few times but they always increase the price, this place is value for money has exact same views if not better.Rooms are surprisingly bigger than expected .Just need a few things maintained around pool , ladder is broken, install the sail that shades other side of pool, some tiles have broken off and is dangerous for kids. Extra bin bags r needed .But overall a great stay and we will be back …

This place was awesome. Walking distance from downtown shops. Maybe a 7 minute walk. And the view is crazy pretty. The pool was awesome and the noise was quiet around the whole area. Watch out for the birds. They might steal your lunch if you leave it unattended. Lol

Managers seem to be out of their depth. Floors were slimy throughout the unit due a known problem but there was no offer to mediate the slip risk, no access to a mop. One tea towel for 5 ppl for 4 days, I had stated that we had mobility issues when enquiring but they accepted the booking. Requests to have a TV looked at was ignored twice, automatic washing machine has to be repeatedly reset to complete a load, air conditioner in main area didn't work, no locks on gauze doors leading to verandah with a dangerous rail design. Pool access was not fit for taking 3 kids up and down...there was an alternative a cess but the path had not been cleared. Beautiful promotional pics of a pool we couldn't and access Shuttles cannot turn so guests are dropped with luggage at the base is a ridiculously steep and winding hill.I could go on but this was one of the worst places I have ever stayed at.

Great spot, fantastic apartment, spacious clean, tasteful. Amazing views, close to everything. Friendly staff...already thinking about when I can go back. Highly recommended!

We had an apartment on the top floor overlooking the gorgeous bay and Whitsunday waters with Hayman island in the distance.Apartment was very spacious, much bigger than I expected. It had a fully stocked kitchen with working dishwasher and full size fridge which was really cold and the freezer froze super quick which is great when refilling ice trays.Bed was comfy, the only thing I didn't like, was there was no quilt on the bed, only a sheet and a pretty ordinary blanket in the cupboard if needed. I personally like the weight of a quilt so next time will bring my own.Ensuite bathroom was spacious with double sink andbig enough for two people to use at the same time.Location was great, the apartments are at the top of a hill, but it needs to be for the views which are amazing. It is a short distance from the centre of Airlie and would be a steep walk back if you had to.The manager Sharon was great and nothing was a hassle.Overall the apartments are dated , but very functional and in a great location. The apartments are very spacious with decent decor and amenities. But it's the views that really make this place, absolutely stunning.The service from reception really good, especially considering we were there over the Christmas and New Year period. They cattored to our needs in a timely manner.

I couldn't be happier with the choice of location. The views are stunning, the penthouse even more spacious than expected, the reception staff super friendly & helpful, the owners so delightful, cleanliness second to none - take me back to paradise!!

Apartment was very open and clean. The views from the balcony were great and we enjoyed use of the pool. Aircon in the living room wasn’t the best however, the ones in the bedrooms was just fine. Lots of dead bugs in the stairwell (the same ones) for days on end so not regularly maintained. The table on the balcony was way too large for the space. I stayed here with my parents and they struggled with the extremely steep hills into the apartments and no lifts with heavy suitcases. The hotel is only accessible by taxi at night as there are no pavements up the steep hill.

It's not the best place to say. Stayed in an ocean view room. That's the only good part.The other 2 rooms in my room were locked, so I couldn't even have a look.Be aware that they take a $250 holding. Make sure you get it back. It took us 7 days.Over all It needs a good upgrade
