That'll sure sound unusual, but we had our blue Pajero (in case the guys remember it !) taken here after a major break down. That was like 4 years ago. Despite the fact that we were only backpackers passing by, we were received with consideration and an excellent service. They didn't even charge for one part of the labor after we realized the problem they initially pinpointed wasn't the only problem. Thanks to them, we could carry on with our journey and enjoy the end of our lovely time in Australia. Told the guys I would make sure to let a good review on Google back then. I forgot and could never find it back afterward (and I did look for it). Just remembered that story tonight and thought I'll give it a better shot. Hurray !

My Fiat Ducato campervan had broken down at Julia Creek and arrived in Townsville on the back of a truck. I was very fortunate to be taken to Dymocks Mechanical.David looked at the engine within 24 hours. he then consulted with my mechanic at Sth Coffs Motors NSW to find the problem and source the part needed to fix it.Once the part was delivered I was back on the road two days later. All this took less than three weeks and at a very reasonable cost.A big thank you to David and his team for looking after me.I can recommend this business to anyone and especially if you have a Fiat campervan or motorhome.

These guys were receommended to me by a fellow 4X4'er.. I only had a service completed, but as soon as I started my vehicle I could hear the difference and can feel the increased acceleration. They may a bit out of town, but I was given a lift to my work place that saved on a cab fare. Will definitely be back.. Love supporting a family owned local business.

Has we are backpackers travelling since almost two in Oz I could say that this mechanic is good! Unfortunately we weren't lucky to have car that gives us financial holes, but we had great service by them since they really explained the problem and they were honest with us. Keep it up!

It's difficult to find someone to serice light commercial vehicle based motorhomes in Townsville. I had my logbook service done here in October and the experience was excellent. Dymock's will be my go to from now on.
