This cafe has great decor and solid chairs ( a must in this day and age). The ambience is great and the food is top quality. The coffee is to die for. Last but not least, the staff are efficient but not intrusive I love this the most.

Wanted to help small business so ordered home delivery tonight. Hubby wanted garlic prawns so that’s what we ordered. $25 and got 8 little prawns and heaps of rice. It’s more like a sauce that you would put over a steak. Was not worth the price and hubby ended up having to cook meat to go with it. Sorry but not happy customers.

I had 8 hour slow cooked pulled lamb ragout. Everything was cooked to perfection. Fresh, melt in your mouth pasta. The wine was good as well. This Cafe is underrated. I'm a fussy eater and I will definitely come back.

Went to the Capital Cafe and Kitchen for the first time today. What a great place...! Had a great coffee and then a fabulous Sirloin Steak sandwich, which was incredibly tasty... I highly recommend this venue, and it's the perfect place during this ongoing difficult time with COVID. A great outdoor area or plenty of room inside if you prefer. I'll be going there again much sooner than later. 5 out of 5 to a great local business from me...!

Food okay. The server messed up our order and when we politely asked for our correct food, the server became very rude and started arguing.

Breakfast was nice apart from finding a lightly coloured hair in my mouth. I put it on the plate and told the young waiter - she had no solution but an apology, I then told the owner as I thought she may provide better compensation but she walked away and ignored me. I don't think this is good business practice.

Great place for a catch up with friends over a casual lunch or a coffee. Food was typical of a cafe and the coffees were well made. Friendly staff. My only suggestion is to fix the noisy fans that rumble in the background ruining any change to relax or enjoy a conversation.
