Amazing view. Very grateful to those hikers who tied tapes on the tree for guiding the correct route. We still can see those pink tapes on January 2021.Some useful track notes can be found on bushwalkingnsw.com

Excellent views into the Nattai Wilderness from the lookout. Expect to walk for about 3.5 hours return. It is a long walk with very few things to look at on the way. Make sure you download 'AllTrails' app as this will be invaluable for finding your way through the faint trail (particularly as the pink marked tapes are gone).Expect to be retracing your steps and using your map at several points on the trail. The road in is currently in poor condition. Huge potholes on unsealed road. It is possible to drive to the start if done slowly but care needs to be taken.

Stunning views at the look out point. However it is not easy to find the way. The most important point is to follow the pink marked tapes. Using the trail guild on the website as the guid and look carefully to find the indication. It took us three hours to get there as we lost for a while and only less than 2 hrs on the way back.

About a 12km hike able to be done in less that 3 hours with reasonable fitness. Great views at the top of the lookout if the weather is good. I went on a warm winters day that started out overcast but cleared up by the time I got to the lookout. There’s a few kms of dirt road that was well maintained when I went (June2023) and you just drive straight down the one path to the carpark that fits probably up to 10 vehicles. The initial path is firetrail and then there’s a few important turns to take which you should keep a good look out for as the beginning of those paths were easy to miss and I walked past it for a few hundred metres before I realised. Read a good bush hiking guide before you go. Most of the trail was fine to walk except for some areas where I got lost as there are very few markers I found. Maybe 2-3 pink markers and 5-6 built rock piles that indicate the way from the rocky flat areas. The rest of the path was a little overgrown with plants but otherwise manageable.Great hike and would go again now that I know the track. Also relatively close to Sydney and good access for both 2wd and 4wd
