Food looks fine but taste is just bad…There was no option there and we had early lunch and left full of dissapointment.Chewy fish&chips not crispy at all.Not fresh salad and sauce tastes funny.Frozen burger patty.I’d rather buy snacks in IGA or food truck next time.

Both my partner and I dined here after a big day out walking because we couldn't be bothered cooking.We are both realistic when it comes to costs, however the prices you pay for a meal here you expect someone to come and take your order and bring the food to you,For the amount of staff working in the kitchen I am completely perplexed as to how they can royally screw up a Chicken Caesar salad and a Prawn Caesar salad.The chicken brest was as dry as the desert, the bacon was rubbery and the poached egg on both salads were obviously precooked to the point it was like a hard boiled eggCold and no runny yoke.The best part about of our dining experience here was our canned drinks and small bowl of chips.If I wasn't so tired and could be bothered waiting for a new meal I would have sent this rubbish back to the kitchen especially at $70 for 2 salads and a small bowl of chips.If your going to charge premium prices for food, people are expecting premium quality food.

This is the only restaurant in the townsquare of ayer rock resort. It opens from 8:00- 20:00, 8:00-11:00 for breakfast menu, 10:30-20:00 is all day menu. There not many choices of food to choose, be on long waiting time on peak hours, esp 12:00-13:00. Food quality and flavours are just average. Self service

Staff is amazing and the food is too. The chef was accommodating to our request for a vegetarian risotto. These guys have quality service and do their best to give guests alternative suggestions for vegan options. I highly recommend this place. They even have a take away option unlike Arnguli Grill & Restaurant, which doesn't! :)

We had dinner as well as breakfast in this restaurant. It looks a bit expensive as it is a fast food service. However the taste is quite good. The ingredients used are healthy and rich. The services quite friendly. Food services also quick and fast.

We enjoyed every meal across the range of breakfast, lunch and dinner which we had here over our 5 day stay at Yulara.The reception and service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere casual and relaxed. It is great to see the Academy training staff in hospitality.Pre trip rumours of expensive / poor quality food in Yulara were false. We found the freshness, quality and presentation excellent and prices reasonable in context if the remote location - Not much different to local prices. I am happy to highly recommend Geckos Cafe. Enjoy your central Australia experience.

It's order and pick up by yourself, don't expect much service, so you won't be disappointed. We ordered seafood pizza and a meat pizza, plus salads to share among 4 of us. Both pizzas turned out pretty good, crusts were very thin, I'd prefer the thick crust better, that's the only complaint I have. I did not try salad, but my wife said it's surprisingly fresh. It's little pricey here, but realistic considering all the foods have to be brought from outside.

Best Aussie burger ever! Also decent vegan burger. Generous food portions. Just wish lighting the cafe was brighter during winter
