Benalla Botanical Gardens
Beautiful garden with plentiful tree cover and grass patches for a picnic or for a peaceful stroll on good weather days. The garden is well maintain but could do with a bit more variety in plants especially of the flowering type. The garden is located on the banks of the Benalla lake and is next to the Benalla Art Center.

Lovely walk through trees and well kept plants. Not much information about them but that was OK. The lake is beautiful and the cockatoos fabulous.

Stopped by here on our drive from Melbourne to Wodonga. It was quite hot so admittedly I didn't walk around too much, just from the toilets near the playground to the museum/cafe. What I saw was nice though. The gardens looked well maintained and the lake is nice too. BBQ and toilets near the playground.

Benalla Botanical Gardens
Not the biggest garden but it is luscious, green and diverse. It is next to a stream and has an art museum. I saw some great benches to read a book on. There is a mini WW1 Memorial too.

Benalla Botanical Gardens
We stopped there for lunch on our way to North Eastern Victoria. Nice gardens. Good shady spots to suit. The Bunya Bunya pine trees were a bit of a concern, but nice to look at.
