I've used Laverton Car Care services couple of times, and Darren has been fantastic and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Darren was fantastic, had to get wheel alignment done after front end work elsewhere, other garage was sloppy and returned the car in an unsafe condition, his main concern was the safety of my vehicle, he pointed out exactly what was wrong and how dangerous it could be.He called as soon as he was finished within his estimated time. He also underquoted written quotes for other work, will be returning to him in the future!Hopefully a decent genuine mechanic

Horrible service and incompetent mechanic. Took my car to be fixed, Darren said the fuel pump assembly and filter needed to be replaced. Charged over $700, the 4 days later car broke down. I got the car towed to ultra tune, they inspected the fuel pump and fuel assembly and found the fuel level float to be broken and tried to be glued on with silicone on which caused the level gauge to read incorrect and also to drop silicone particles into the tank.I had to replace everything AGAIN and was charged $600 to redo Darren's job and clean out fuel tank.When I went to pick up my car the first time, I saw him back a car into the fence. It's common knowledge that Silicone and fuel don't go together.You might think he doesn't rip you off, but I have evidence that his work is not upto standard.Darren refuses to refund his dodgy work and consumer affairs is now involved.Just don't go there.

Great guy great service reasonable rate u won't get ripped off. Could be a few thing omitted but he always fix everything up if he is given the chance to mend it. Can't complain.

Dropped my car off to get fixed and come back with this paint dribble. I also had rubbish left in the car. Classic edge can suck a fat one!

Went to get my injectors checked as car was performing worse on petrol that gas. Told me they were fine and it was the compression. Told me the leak under hood was the headgasket and it was blown between 2 cylinders. Went on doing the headgasket job myself with a new machined head. Pulling the old head apart just to find out the gasket wasn't blown in any spots and I wasted 16 hours of my time and over 1000$ on the head, headgasket and machining it. Cleaned the injectors with carby cleaner myself, new spark plugs and wires did the job and the performance difference was tremendous. If you are looking for a quick service or oil change if you can't do it yourself, it might be the place you wanna visit, but nothing mechanically wise I wouldn't trust em with.
