The Cottages on Mount Tamborine

Stayed for 4 nights in the Lorikeet cottage in July. A very nice cosy cottage with air-conditioning, log fire and a separate bedroom with a king size bed and great views over the large gardens. The cottage had everything we needed and also great that we were able to take the dog for a minimal cleaning fee. Only slight issue was that we only had one bath towel each with no hand towels or shower mat.

Really enjoyed our stay, I wish we had booked for a second night as we didn't get much time to take it all in ...The manager Collin was great and easy to deal with.The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed.. Even bird seed to put in our own bird feeder.We got the room with the spa and although we couldnt get the jets to go it was still beautiful and relaxing..We woke to a beautiful breakfast basket at our door with all fresh ingredients. I felt so at home cooking breakfast and eating on the verandah taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery.Glad we found this amazing place and cant wait to go back with the family sometim

This is an awesome option for couples or solo travellers for a quiet & peaceful getaway. Also being pet friendly is an added bonus for pet lovers.I recommend the breakfast hamper as its great value for money with a good variety of products. (Bread, croissants, butter, milk, juice, tomatoes, eggs, avocado, mushrooms, can of baked beans, hash browns, etc)Location is convenient and close to shops, takeaways, cafes, gift/souvenir shops and activities such as bushwalking tracks/trails, lookouts and picnic or park areas.Contactless check-in / check-out was quick & easy. Staff are polite & accommodating which is a pleasure when communicating together.The room was clean and neat and tidy and the bed was so very comfortable and big enough to get lost in!

Beautiful property and a truely relaxing couple of days. Fantastic staff and a lovely log fire. Highly recommended for a getaway with your family and of course the dogs.

What can I say if you want to get away this place is the best. Totally beautiful the self contained cottages are amazing and quite spacious and very relaxing by the fire place. On an acreage block close to town with a quiet country feel. The staff were great if you needed something all you had to do was ask and they’d do their best to help out.

Excellent location for a peaceful getaway.Cottage had everything you needed to relax.Birdlife was good and easy walk around the property. Close enough to all attractions too.I would be happy to stay here again.

This place is awesome and a great place to come & unwind. Very pet friendly with heaps of area for your four legged little people to run about as well as meet / greet other guests & animals. The hosts are wonderful, easy to talk to, quick to accommodate requests & laid back creating a peaceful stressless stay. Adonis(puppy) & I stayed at Cassowary cottage for 3 nights. The cottage was very clean, well furnished and extremely relaxing. Waking up to the rustling of the leaves then looking out over the well maintained grounds, listening to the birds & enjoying the natural beauty, was just breathtaking. We went for several walks a day around the lush grounds and enjoyed the 2 beautiful horses, Moi and Grace. The owner, Colin, was fantastic. His son, Carl, is one rare, fabulous young boy. All the people at The Cottages were very friendly & non-intruding. We were very sad to leave and hope to return soon.

We stayed here over the Christmas holidays for 2 x nights and it was very comfortable. I'd only suggest putting the TV in front of the couch as it's above the fridge in the kitchen and it's a pretty small TV. But we managed to reshuffle all the furniture and put it back when we checked out. They deliver firewood to your room each afternoon and the bird life is fantastic, lots of birds! It was also great to see the two black horses in the paddock from our balcony and seeing the lady ride them each afternoon, a real treat away from city life.

Beautiful outlook, spotless, comfortable bed, firewood delivered by a lovely young man each afternoon. Very quiet, surrounds well kept. My friend and my cat also enjoyed it very much.The Jack and Jill bathroom in Kookaburra Cottage is spectacular, a big spar (did not have time to try out) and a wonderful large shower with tons of hot water. Yes I would stay again
