Motels are motels. all are much the same - comfortable, quiet, good facilities. What made this one different was the manager. I booked in for two nights and the second night after attending a conference all day arrived at the motel at around 10pm on a freezing night to find the heating on and the room comfortably warm. A sign of a thoughtful, caring person in charge. 10 out of 10.

9 km out of Yackandandah with very pleasant surroundings, the appartment was nicely furnished with a comfortable king size bed. There is a fridge, kettle, decent TV and aircon. The main window is not shaded & lets the afternoon summer sun shine directly in the apartment, block it with the blind will block the view.

Good place to stay. We arrived around 9pm quite unorganized. They had a great understanding for our late check in and gave us a warm welcome. Cute well maintained and clean vintage style room with a good shower and a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend!

A quite place for family getaway. I wish that the landlord would replace the liquid soap bottle in the lavatory and the microwave in the kitchen.

unbelievably welcoming and cosy if you are looking for peace and quite and views of the mountains this is the place for you we didnt want to leave loved it very clean and tidy like going back in time highly recomended

Good value. Well appointed and quite spacious for a short stay. Lovely views and a nice quiet spot. The two TVs is handy with kids! It's a very pretty area and we found quite a bit to do locally and in Beechworth.

We booked but didn't end up staying at the venue due to newly introduced border restrictions - but the hosts (I spoke to Susan) were extremely understanding when we had to cancel our booking. We had our refund processed through Booking.com within a day. Colonial Inn were kind and pragmatic, which was just what we needed in the situation. Thank you!
