Brisbane Skin - Newstead

Such a great experience at Brisbane skin. My scars have dramatically improved in appearance since my treatments. Both Sybil and Dr Manoharan were wonderful to deal with and make you feel very comfortable.

I love everything about Brisbane Skin, it’s a lovely space with wonderful staff. I see Sybil for laser and she has literally changed my skin. Everyone there is helpful and understanding. Every concern is looked after. I cannot recommend them and especially Sybil enough.

I've had several treatments at Brisbane Skin over the last year and I couldn't be happier with the service. Dr Manoharan and Sybil have been so helpful and care about getting the best results for me.I'm always nervous before treatments but the staff are so kind and friendly, I always have a good experience.

I have been a client here for 10 years and my 18 year old daughter has been looked after by Brisbane skin for the last 4 years also. They are very experienced and the education and beautiful service is always 100 percent. I have used many different services here and I have just had co2 so I will share my results in 12 days after healing.

Brisbane Skin has been nothing but professional and caring. Their consultation process is smooth and seamless as is their post treatment care. Everyone from the reception staff to dermal therapists are warm and welcoming and put you at ease for your treatment and care.

The Newstead Brisbane Skin Practice is the worst dermatologist practice I have ever been to. They prescribed me the incorrect medication, causing me to be extremely sick for weeks. The service there was extremely rude and judgmental, which is appalling when you are already apprehensive and self-conscious about your acne prior to even going. The receptionist talked about me without caring that I could clearly hear her making fun of my face. I will NEVER EVER go back to them. The Manly Practice is so much better.

I went to Brisbane skin for a mole check recently and was told one of my freckles looked suspicious. The Dr was forceful in telling me I needed to get it out the next day and when I went to the desk to get a quote it was $600+. It seemed excessive for a freckle the size of a pen tip. I got a second opinion from a GP and he said the device she was using was very old and not high quality enough to be doing proper skin checks. I was shocked a “skin clinic” doesn’t have the latest technology. He said the freckle was likely fine but was happy to remove it free of charge for peace of mind. I would be cautious of Brisbane skin, I feel like they just want to make money.

As nice and helpful as the staff are here, my overall experience feels like after 4 separate appointments in which I was ultimately advised to use a more expensive brand of skin care - which I have religiously done so in the year following.There has been no long term improvement and I do not wish to return to Brisbane Skin Clinics simply because they are So Expensive.I was originally willing to pay for the appointments believing I was getting someone who would take my concerns and treatment seriously, and I don't feel like I received that at all.

Getting treatment at Brisbane skin has been the best experience I’ve ever had. The service is very professional and they care about how best to look after and treat your skin. Sybil is absolutely amazing in the work she does! She’s very friendly and is very knowledgeable about the type of skin I have and how best to take care of it. My skin has never looked so great as what it does now after going to Brisbane skin for the last 2 years! So very happy with the results. Look forward to my continued journey with Brisbane Skin! ❤️
