Lakeside Falls Creek
Fantastic! What I really wanted to note about our visit here is the friendliness of the staff. We dined with them at the end of the season, and as anyone who has spent time at seasonal resorts will know - by the end of the season the staff can so often be tired, grumpy and completely disengaged. This was not our experience here, and it was so refreshing! We enjoyed tasty (generous) meals, delicious cocktails, and were given a great table with a magnificent view. The staff were fantastic with my two young nieces, which was very much appreciated by our group. Do not hesitate :)

Ate at the restaurant for an evening meal, were seated at a comically wobbly, hilariously tiny high table. (Barely big enough for drinks.) Rushed to make a decision and then our main came out half way through the starter (actually hilarious because there wasn't space for the waiter to put down the plates so we had to pick up and hand over our starter plates )Portion sizes were hilariously small (a child at the next table had a larger meal)Finally, we had booked the table for 2 hours but went out to watch the fireworks for 20 minutes and the table had been given away.This is almost certainly just a one off experience and the atmosphere and food were great, just too funny not to share

This restaurant/bar is the best on the mountain in Falls Creek. Service, food and drinks would all be hard to beat.The service from Michelle and her team is amazing and the meals are like nothing else we could get in the village. So much flavour and big servings. Even better finishing off the night with the awesome espresso martini’s! We can’t wait to come back next year!!!

Very uncomfortable bed - it didn’t have head rest and it was bit collapsed in the middle so we had to put pillows between us to avoid rolling over towards each other. Didn’t get good night sleep for the three nights we were there. Also, there was no table in the room to leave our stuff on, no bedside tables either.The TV was very inconveniently located on the other side of the room away from the bed so we struggled to watch comfortably. Extremely noisy - you could hear people walking, talking, playing pool from above the room, very annoying when you’re trying to rest or sleep.The breakfast was disappointing - bread butter and jam, that was it. Some eggs would have made it better. We paid for the breakfast but it didn’t meet the value for our money.The room wasn’t cleaned once for our 4 days stay, the trash was overflowing and the towels weren’t changed.There wasn’t a closet for the clothes, only improvised plastic racks that were unstable.The staff and the owner were very nice though, the view was magnificent and loved the lounge area with the fireplace. Loved the location - you could ski in/out from the front door.

Lakeside Falls Creek
We stayed at Lakeside for 7 nights for our first family ski trip with our 3 children. Prior to arriving, Michelle always promptly answered any questions I had. The location was really good with lovely mountain views and easy ski in / ski out. We were grateful for the lovely dining / lounge area with board games, pool table to amuse us during a few bad weather days. We ate at Lakeside most nights and the food was delicious with good portion sizes. The cocktails were lovely and affordable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Despite mother nature not being kind with the weather, we really loved our stay and look forward to returning next season.Louise and family

Stayed twice. Rooms are functional but those beneath the billiards area can get noisy (till 10pm). Good food. We ate dinner here throughout our 4 day stay. Would like to see more savory options for breakfast - except for Vegemite everything else was sweet.

My family and I loved coming for dinner and drinks at Lakeside while we were at Falls Creek. Our kids are so well catered for in terms of both food and entertainment, that this meant my husband and I could relax and enjoy a glass of wine together. Thanks Lakeside!

Spent 5nights here and highly recommend. Staff and facilities were all fantastic and the food was great and well priced!! Will definitely head back later in the season.

Lakeside Falls Creek
We were warmly greeted upon arrival, and even though we were early, we were told we could check in to our room and drop off our luggage. The owners provided us great tips for our stay, and although their restaurant wasn't open for the nights we were there, we were still able to enjoy our continental breakfast each morning (very impressed with the giant Nutella dispenser for our waffles!!). The room was clean and tidy, the Smart TV was a much appreciated addition to fill in time while the weather was too wild to ski. Make sure you check out the guest facilities room downstairs, unfortunately we weren't aware of the room, and only discovered it when we asked if we could put our luggage somewhere after checking out. Overall a very comfortable and happy stay.
