Giraffe Removals

Big thank you to David and Davis who took the stress out of our big move. They were quick, professional, friendly, and no part of the house or our belongings were even slightly scratched. We also came in at the lower end of our quote because of how quickly these guys work. The reasonable flat rate also makes things much easier, and there really were no hidden costs!Nothing was too hard for them, I can't recommend them more for a move.

This was the second time that Giraffe have moved us, and this experience was even better than the first. The two young men were so helpful, friendly, efficient, careful and all round excellent that we were very pleased. We had a huge fridge that had to fit through a very small opening, and they managed it without out any stress ! Everything was reassembled and connected in record time. Thank you guys for a great job on what can be a really difficult day

We booked this company three times in less than 6 months. first time no issues, second time turned up late and caused a lot of stress, third time didn't turn up at all and caused significant stress and upset. The owner doesn't like to accept responsibility for the problems and turns the blame back on the customer .The owner has responded with information that is not correct. My second job , booked for 7.30am start, was “delayed” because the owner double booked for that date and failed to inform me - when I rang to find out why they didn’t turn up he was hostile. When I was informed via SMS (on the morning of the move) that they were not coming for the third job I was given an excuse that frankly didn’t sound true - there was no mention of staff shortages due to border closures. My review is both fair and accurate

These guys squeezed us in at a few days' notice and were excellent. Richard and Josh worked solidly from 7:30am till after 4 with only one short break, and were unfailingly cheerful and friendly throughout. (They are a couple of Kiwi guys who called each other bro" all day

Simon and his lovely assistant were able to help us move at short notice. Their company was recommended by another removalist who couldn't do the job. They communicated effectively and quickly informed us they could assist. They arrived on time and got straight into the job at hand. We were impressed with their professionalism and how they handled themselves with our toddler and dog running around. They'll be our first call now, local IS best!

We used Giraffe Removals to move nearly 200 archive boxes out of our old premises. This included travelling up and down a curved staircase. These guys had a great attitude as soon as they stepped out of the truck and even helped lift a few extra boxes for us. Would highly recommend!

I can not recommend these guys highly enough. I have completed 5 house moves in 2.5 years and Giraffe Removals were the best by far. What took all of the other companies 8 hours only took these guys 3 hours - plus they moved my treadmill down stairs without any fuss - something the others wouldn't do. Was a pleasure moving with them, and they were very polite too - will definitely use again if I need to

I moved with Giraffe last week and was very impressed. The guys were on time and very experienced, and they were extremely careful and efficient. They had a difficult staircase to negotiate with large furniture and moved a piano, all without a hitch. I would recommend them highly.

We used Giraffe to move from our large family, two story house in Melville, early December 2018. The guys, Josh, Richard and Mike worked incredibly hard for a huge day and with amazing patience, professional skill and endurance.More than that, their humour, friendly natures and their banter made moving day - which we had anticipated to be very stressful - relatively easy and enjoyable.
