Not sure how anyone can give this place a good review. This shop including the food prep areas and tables are filthy, staff lie to your face about the freshness of the food, coffee is burnt and disgusting, staff arguing in the back and giving attitude to customers. STAY CLEAR from this place unless you need to get off work with food poisoning. The bagels are made in the Glicks factory and can be found in other Glicks stores and local supermarkets. Glicks needs to close this franchise before it ruins the rest of the brand.

Bagels are just not fresh anymore. Disappointing, given the cost. Plain and sesame bagels at times have a distinctive onion taste, this is because they put them under the garlic and onion bagels. NOT a win if you have intolerances to G or O, or are on a FODMAP diet.Often left to find that what I thought I'd bought wasn't what was in the bag. This is because the staff are busy doing other things rather than ensuring you're happy with your purchase. They even have a sign declaring you need to check what you ordered before leaving - putting the onus in the customer.

Had a very good experience with them. I wanted to buy two Sultana Challa breads, but I got two plains and I only checked them at my car. Quickly went back and wanted to replace them with the sultana ones, but they said due to Covid policy they can't take the plains back whereas I already left the shop, but I can take them for free and they also gave me the sultana breads and made me pay only the price difference. I found it customer friendly and generous.

Very disappointed with the bagels we've bought here the last few months, definitely not what they used to be. Glicks bagels used to be beautifully soft and fresh and now they're quite firm and dry.When I've bought these bagels it has always been on a Tuesday so I don't know if the day makes a difference: maybe they don't bake them fresh daily anymore?

Great Challah / egg loaf available Thursday and Friday's. Friendly staff but check out closing times, sometimes 4pm.

Amazing as always, Awesome bagels, delicious coffee and the best homemade soup ever, then add to that lovely friendly staff. If you want great bread definitely pay them a visit, they do not disappoint

I had a bad service experience when I visited the shop. There were two people working at the shop and there was a line of customers going all the way to centre road. Instead of servicing the customers, one worker prepared online orders and one worker serviced the customers. As a result I had to wait 15 minutes. I am sorry to say that after this I am not going back and I will buy challas somewhere else.
