Have been coming here for years, food use to be so good, I think there may be new management because it was terrible tonight and saw none of the usual staff.$30 for seafood basket which I could smell before it got to my table and about the size of a microwave meal.Have spent in excess of $4000 over the years at this place and tonight was my last time. Pretty unfortunate as they use to be great

Food is well presented and tasty. The lamb rack was the size of 2 small loin chops. At $40 it is not good value despite being tasty. The steaks would be better value. Service is prompt, friendly and professional. The venue is quite stark and more cafe style than restaurant. The Firehouse provides a solid average experience. Parking was easy with bays in front of the venue.

The clubhouse steak sandwich was OK, the steak itself was a good medium rare, but the flavour wasn’t there. The chips were also soggy.My wife ordered the gluten-free base chicken satay pizza, which had dry chicken and an extremely doughy centre. The base itself was borderline edible and made her feel nauseous after about 30 minutes of eating a few slices. Only the edges were slightly crispy.Besides that, the other topping on the pizza were good and customer service was on point. Extremely kind and welcoming. I made this review purely because I’m too awkward in person to say so. We came to eat here because of the gluten-free options and online reviews. Mighty come back and order something different.

We had a table of 7 people and not one of us had a nice meal. For start, kids burger came out with mould on the bun, the second time it came out half frozen like it was put into the microwave just out of the freezer. The steaks were well done when ordered medium and medium well, also mostly fat. The service was not great as after our first complaint no one came to our table and asked was everything ok, I had go look for a waitress to complain about the mould on the burger. The oysters were also not fresh, only 3 eaten out of 6 oysters.

The food here is nice and plenty of options for all tastes. I would say it's on the high end price wise in terms of value for money, but not totally unreasonable. Connected to a hotel, do maybe the reason for the slightly elevated prices

This place was fantastic. Food was good and promptly delivered to our family of 7. The waitress was very clued on to our needs, especially with our youngest children. Def recommend and will be back again. If you're getting dessert, I suggest the peach cobbler.

Steak well cooked exactly as requested. Salad with steak and chips nice and fresh. Sticky beef salad was also nice. Service was good and staff friendly even though we were not staying at the hotel to which the restaurant forms part.
