Nice little bush walk starting at Katandra rd. Make your way down to Seymour Pond and carry on until you get to the ‘big’ tree. Turn back for a nice easy adventure or hike up to the lookout at Toomeys Rd.

It’s a nice enough track, just keep walking right past Seymour’s Pond, the track looping it is infested with leeches.Otherwise, the walk is nice, has a very rain foresty feel to it and is very quiet

Make sure you bring plenty of salt for the leeches.

Great walk! Gets pretty wet so prepared to get a little muddy.

Great walk. The paths are perfect and the stairs are fairly new. Long walk if going all the way to the lookout. We had our kids with us and went to the vine tree. Highly recommended.

Google lists as a dog walk....it's NOT. If you have a doggo don't waste your time.

Beautiful walk, few problems are leeches and signage is a bit haphazard. Other than that a nice day out.

Stunningly beautiful place but the leeches are numerous and very active. Bring lots of insect repellent and spray your shoes and legs before the walk

A nice place to walk and explore nature, specially if you are gosford or central coast local. You can plan for a picnic as there are of number places for picnic specially in lakeside. The forest is dense with all tall and big trees, which is nice and the trail is nice as well with quite nice stairs.Toilet is next to carpark. The parking is free but is not marked.I didn't find any toilet or drinking water taps along the trail, make sure you are well planned for the walk.
