Really happy with the service from the team at Sommer Car Care. We were both hesitant to move from Audi servicing, but very comfortable that we did for both of our cars. Communication, pricing and service have all been transparent and impressive (as is the workshop office which looks like a magazine photo). We recently got married (around time of servicing one of the cars) and the team kindly left a bottle of wine in the car to congratulate us. Very impressed - thanks again.

Excellent service. Very prompt and professional. I struggled to get an appointment for my car elsewhere and was told the waiting time would be weeks. At Sommer they could help me within 24 hours. Ludwig and Nicola are professional and pleasant. The Repair Shop is very neat and clean. I had the use of a courtesy car which I could not get at larger Workshops. Ludwig kept me updated and delivered a repaired car to me as promised. The car was well cleaned on delivery to me. Definitely would recommend their services and will be using Sommer Car Care in the future.

The team at Sommer were able to fit my car in quite quickly and lend me a loan car to be able to get to work and back too. They explained the issues to me without sounding patronising and helped me identify the main priorities I needed to fix. Having a European brand car meant it was difficult to find a mechanic who was not only confident in repairs but knew what they were doing too. Added bonus were the two cute doggos in the office to hang out with while I waited to be served. Highly recommend!

Sommer car care are by far the best mechanics in Brisbane! They thankfully were able to fit me in next day for a clutch repair on my Toyota Yaris, and it was ready the same day! They also have very competitive pricing, which makes it affordable. They even fixed my hand break for me with no charge, which I was ever so grateful for! The owners are lovely, and so kind. Will definitely be returning, and highly recommend Sommer car care for all your mechanic needs.

Nicola and the team at Sommer Car Care went above and beyond to help me fix the electrical faults in my car just as I was due to travel and needed my car repaired upon my return. Their prices were reasonable and their service was exceptional. I would highly recommend Sommer Car Care to anyone looking for a high quality experience by a warm, family run business.

Purchased a second hand Volvo V40. Third party red book Pre purchase inspection was a pass, with 3.5/5 stars. Has had a roadworthy done, passed all except for a small oil leak. Took it to Sommers, being new to European cars I wanted someone experienced. The professional website, inner city location and convenient loan car service drew me in. I asked them to look into the oil leak and the windscreen wiper jets. I received a quote for nearly $7000 and no reports of the oil leak. Naturally I declined the work, I was going to just go ahead with the basic service, but being $450 without a tire rotation, air filter or coolant top up it just wasn't practical for me. I collected the car with no work done and was charged $165+GST (plus the hire car expenses) for an hour of their time( Iam not complaining about the time spent but Labor at $165/hour is a bit rich). I don't feel like I received any better service than I have done in the past by suburban mechanics-so the website is really just good marketing. I will leave it up to the reader to decide if they feel like Sommers is a good choice.

Finally found a mechanic I can trust. After being ripped off by (love to name and shame but wont) others advising they could tune my car up, was sceptical. However their service, prices and over all attention to both me and my care was beyond what I had hoped for. Advised me of work before undertaking it and at a reasonable price. I took my account over to show a mate who knows about this stuff and he will take his car there next time.
