Glenlyon Dam Tourist Park
It was very quiet for some reason. Good covered picnic tables and facilities. We stopped only for lunch down close to the boat ramp.

Brian and Deb are absolute ripper hosts. Both of them to keep this place. Absolutely spotless. Both of them love a chat, Brian, especially our family has been coming here on and off for the last 25 years. Mum and dad ( passed on)mainly. The caverns are absolutely spotless.

Stayed in Kermit the bus right by the lake, it was a fun experience plus there where sheep and llama on the property. Had great views of the stars there also. Will probably go back.

Our first time to Glenlyon Dam. We had a great lunch from the kiosk, then drove down to water level. It is only 4% capacity at the moment, but heard a local man say 10 Murray Cod were caught today. So great place to picnic, camp, caravan, fish or just come for a look. It would be fantastic to see it when it is full. Come and see for yourself!!

Just spent a week camping here as first time visitor. Unlike many lakes in NSW the campsites are not lakeside. There is however an area by the lake to set up gazebo if you like. Sites are grassed but most are on a bit of an incline. Firepits are provided and so was the firewood. The amenities are dated but clean. There's a playground as well as other games for kids. There are tons of kangaroos and birds. The staff Brian And Debbie are very friendly and the small shop is well stocked. The fuel is well priced. The lure selection is amazing and Debbie has a wealth of knowledge ready to share. As of Jan 2023 the lake was 29°C, full and water quality was excellent. We caught Golden and Silver Perch. Others have caught cod. Had a great time and would recommend.
