Kennedy's Chemist - Compounding & Homeopathy Pharmacy in Botany, Mascot, Sydney

Please don’t shop here! The owner is extremely rude and verbally aggressive. Today I have left this place shaken and upset and he actually made me cry. I used to shop here all the time but stopped some time ago after the owner was rude to me when I asked him to JP a document for me. I promised myself I’ll never visit this place again but foolishly I had a parcel delivered there as it was just the most convenient place to collect it from. He was annoyed with me from the start when he realised that i was there to collect the parcel and not to shop. He took my ID, went to the back, came back 5 seconds later and literally said to me “we don’t have your parcel, goodbye.” I said: would you mind just double checking because i have a text from the sender that the parcel is definitely awaiting collection from here. He then started shouting at me and told me to come back some other day when he’s not there! I was shocked! Luckily there was another person behind the counter who was able to find my parcel immediately after we figured out that the sender used my maiden name from my account information instead of my married name I put in when ordering. I just cannot believe that any business would treat people this way, let alone a pharmacy. Absolutely appalling! He is a shame of Botany.

This must be the most caring and professional group of people who work in this Chemist. Twice in two years, I needed their help after I came out of the hospital with changes to my medications, and both times they came to my rescue. I get the Webster pack for ease of, and Vitali will bring in another Chemist to look after the customers while he packs my medication. During this pandemic, he has gone out of his way to help others especially the elderly, and I for one and grateful. His pricing and I have seen some of his invoices have always been fair, sometimes to the detriment of his own bottom line. I give thanks that when Tom sold the Chemist shop, he sold it to a man that is for the people. Thank you, Vitali and staff, for being there for me.

Decided to support a local business and regretted it. The pharmacist put half the amount of tablets in a brown paper bag ( I'm sure by accident) and I didn't check at the time as they prepare them at the back.I only realised when I got home and called straight away and he asked me to stop by.When I did, he said I must have lost the tablets and refused to check his stock, I asked him again to check the stock and he insisted that I lost it.I asked him if it was worth losing a customer over $20 and he didn't have an answer so I walked out and went across the road to chemist warehouse and bought the missing tablets, they were a lot cheaper as well.Real sham as I always prefer to support small businesses but I am sure it's just the bad apple.

Always greeted with a smile from all staff at Kennedys. I have been giving my custom to Kennedys now for 15 years and I will continue to do so. Great service, very professional with an explanation of all drugs taken. Compounding is an added bonus offered by the Pharmacy.

I wanted to support this local business by trying to buy so alcohol swabs while getting a single document verified by JP. Unfortunately the pharmacist/JP was extremely unhelpful and rude. I only had ONE document. I even called up earlier in the day to confirm if the service was available, which they said they were and for one document only.I understood he had other customers to serve, and I was willing to wait (I even let the man behind me go first as he may be more urgent). I tried to explain that I'm happy to wait but the pharmacist did not give me the chance to speak. He cut me off several times, not even LISTENING. All I wanted to say was 'It's okay, I will wait' but the pharmacist kept interrupting me. I didn't even bother to ask where the swabs were if that was how he was going to treat me, and left. The staff at Chemist Warehouse were friendly and helped me when I needed it, despite being much busier.Disappointing. Either discriminative or plain rude.

03 weeks ago I went to this place to ask information about the vaccination boost,They got my details and I booked it for today January 21st…Today I left my job earlier and I went there to take the boost that I was waiting for 03 weeks,When I got there they asked for my Medicare card I said that I don’t have it…So in resume… I lost 3 weeks because you guys who were not professional enough to give me all the information in the beginning about what I had to have to get the vaccine.I don’t recommend this place for nothing!

Rude and unhelpful. Don’t go here unless you’re desperate. The male owner/ pharmacist is the rudest human. When you’re unwell and need meds the last thing you need is someone being obstructive and rude like he is. Whether there are issues with scripts or not it’s no excuse for rudeness and aggression.

Ordered online Thursday afternoon and received my order Friday midday. Such good service and so fast! Highly recommend. They’ve also been very helpful over the phone before recommending homeopathic remedies and have a very wide range.

I Love coming to this Pharmacy. The owner always greets me in Hungarian and he does a great Job.He has always been helpful to me and i will continue to come to his pharmacy.

Vitali the owner is such a kind, helpful man. He went out of his way to order in the medication I needed and it had it delivered the next day. Thank you!
