Minshull Mechanical Repairs

Currently doing the lap and were in Broome for a period of time. Needed a service and replacement of airbags in the rear of our Ram 1500.The guys at Minshull were fantastic from booking the car in to getting the part’s required to getting the work done.Communication and follow up was excellent, makes you appreciate small town businesses.Highly recommended

Had squeak in fan belt area causing concern. Although flat out with work they identified the problem and fixed it immediately. Great bunch of blokes. Also the ARB dealer with a lot of gear in the shop. Thank you. It is very much appreciated.

Travelling from interstate in my 4WD and was fitted in quickly to check the cause of an engine oil leak with potentially dire consequences.Problem diagnosed, inexpensive part replaced and on my way.Much appreciated for the expert action and fix at a very reasonable price.Definitely be back if and when needed when again in these parts of WA.

Brought my car in with a issue that I described as a turbo or boost issue & car lacking power. After looking at it they advised the issue was the injectors and I needed to replace them along with a new fuel pump and fuel rail (CRD) I was surprised as to why all that need to be changed when they're perfectly fine, just one injector was leaking. I ordered new injectors and they were fitted by another mechanic in Kununurra. After testing the car, guess what, car still lacking power, and they advised it's a boost controller issue. Thanks for nothing Minshull.

We had an electrical fault with our Dmax preventing the vehicle from starting. The team at Minshull MR went out of their way to assist and get us back on the road. Couldn't be more happy with the service. Absolutely recommend these guys.

Would not recommend. Had vehicle serviced, rear sump plug was left loose to the point where oil was leaking out, oil service reminder was not reset. Also when picking up the vehicle, it started rough and had to wait another 30 minutes whilst they fixed the issue...apparently it had been road tested. Only good th

Long story short, broke down 300kms south of Broome. Picked up by RAC and taken to this mechanics. Told by Minshull’s the engine was finished and would cost $10,000 to fix on my daughters 2014 Holden cruise. Told to hurry up and decide if we wanted to crush the car or fix it. (As we would soon be up for storage costs)We asked if they would be interested in purchasing the car for spare parts and were told no. We said go ahead crush it and paid Minshull’s the $290 cost to do so. 3 months later my daughter gets a call from Minshull’s to say she didn’t tell them there was finance on the vehicle, why should this matter if they’ve crushed it? 6 months later the car is in their yard with trade plates on being driven around!!! There was finance on the vehicle so that’s the only reason it hadn’t been re-registered.(my daughter had handed in the plates to licensing before crushing) After a long battle with the large well known finance company who was also told the vehicle was worthless by Minshull’s, (therefore they had lifted the vehicle encumbrance) the finance company said “it was hard to assess if Minshull mechanics had taken advantage of us both” so therefore reduced the debt on the vehicle by a substantial amount. Steer clear is my advice!

I call them for a short diagnostic and he spent 30 min (10 minutes on the car and 20 min drive) and invoice me 150$ !!!!!!Easy money !!!!!And he tell I can’t stay longer maybe it’s your injection pump broken !!!I just think few minutes and look around I want to say 10 minutes after he leave and I found the problem it was just a wire !!!!And they also cost me 30$ hand work to change a fuel filter and he just spent 5 min !!!!So I went to the garage to have explication and nothing for us that was normal !!! Do you think is normal pay someone 130$/h and he haven’t see and a wire disconnect!!I do not recommend this garage at all they will just try to take your money even more when you are backpackers !!!!!

We arrived in the afternoon with a battery problem just before our roadtrip departure, they did their best and solved the problem before evening so we were able to leave on time!Thank you for being so available and attentive
