Kam's Chinese Restaurant
Nowhere near even good. The pork & vegetables dish was so bland, unbelievably tastless. The special fried rice" was drowned in soy sauce so it was basically brown. The only thing I can't fault is the customer service- they're friendly but to be honest I'd rather rudeness with amazing food than politeness & terrible food. Highly disappointed. Won't be going back."

Everytime we go through Swan Hill we stop and have lunch or pick-up food on a return trip.That says it all.Great,friendly and good food.

Food was bland,service was fast, staff shout at each other and diners, prices were expensive and LADIES TOILET WAS FILTHY. Avoid if possible.

The service was fantastic. The fried wontons were hot and fresh, the beef in black bean was hot and tasty although the vegetables in it were a little overcooked. However, the special fried rice was terrible, although hot. It tasted as though it was microwave packet rice with a very minimal amount of additions and a bit of soy sauce. The wrong grain of rice was used and it was rather bland.

Kam's Chinese Restaurant
The food is absolutely brilliant and full of flavour. We were on our way through Swan Hill from Adelaide and I checked out their reviews first. Based on the high number of positives we decided to try it and boy were we glad we did. The staff were very good and the owner is quite a character with a great sense of humour. All I can say about those who left negative reviews is “you need to get out more”.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had to date. A definite Swan Hill food highlight. The staff were really friendly as well :) Clearly very popular as there was hardly an empty table.Pictured: Lemon Chicken, Large Special Fried Rice, and Short Soup

Excellent food, better than 90% of the Chinese restaurants I have been to in Melbourne.Staff are friendly and efficient with fast service.Prices are on the high side which is a downfall for a country town restaurant.Have been there many times but being charged 10% public holiday surcharge with no extra staff other than family being on means we won’t be back, pity.

Clearly a family business: in a good way. The staff and atmosphere are friendly and unironcically wholesome. It's western" style Chinese food but in Swan Hill that's what the locals want and they clearly love it: take-away business was non-stop during our visit."
