JUCY Car Rental

Our little Jucy Van has taken us to some awesome places over the last 3 weeks (more to come) it has been a good car to drive sleeping in it is comfortable for the two of us even with all our camping, food etc in it, we hired for 52 days/nights to see North, West & South Outback Australia) when we did have any trouble the (Jucy on Road Team) have been fabulous ( sometimes we had no service outback) but they were there for us all the way at one stage we passed out notes to people to call them (they were onto it as soon as they could) I can highly recommend them as hire car service (because we hired for the extended time we took out the stress free insurance it’s a must do out here)As you can see by some of the pictures we were able to see this beautiful country

Email response was slow, but they responded after I wrote bad review. The condition of a car was not so good, but fine for me.

We got wrong informations about the vehicle and the insurance from the employees. They said we are fully insured and we did not have to leave any deposit or credit card details. We returned the vehicle and everything was ok, but after a few days they charged us a huge amount, because suddenly we were not insured anymore. As we did not leave a deposit nor credit card details, they just used our bank card details from the card we have paid with. They saved our bank card details without permission and did unauthorized transactions. Moreover, they did not inform us at all and we had to reach out on them asking several times for a bill/ pictures and a satement how they illegally saved our bank card details without permission.We cannot recommend renting a vehicle with them at all and we would never book with them again! Very unprofessional and untrustworthy

The good. The service staff were very friendly.The bad. I checked in online and had to provide all the details again on arrival. The first car i got the radio didn't work. The second car given didnt have working bluetooth. Both cars were very old and not what i expect from a hire car company.

I am writing this review to commend the warm and friendly service by the Jucy Team from the St Kilda outlet. I was assisted by the gentleman named Sean. There were some issues with the insurance policies at first (on my part), but really very thankful to have Sean who have helped resolved the problem. Definitely a 5* service, and of course I’ll rent from Jucy for my following trips. Way to go!To Sean: Thank you for making the entire rental a pleasant one! Kudos to you!

DO NOT Use AIRPORT RENTALS or JUCY Car Rentals – POOR Customer Service / Actually NO Customer Service.The total experience with Airport Rentals & JUCY has been extremely concerning & disappointing.I was scheduled to arrive in Cairns at 1.55pm, however, my flight was delayed as many flights were week commencing 4th April & we arrived at 3.55pm same day.Once we landed I was shocked to find out that airport rentals was not based at the airport & I needed to call airport rentals to arrange a pick up & was on hold for 35 minutes- Once the operator answered she put myself through to customer service & the call went straight to message back.- I called back and was on hold another 15 minutes, when she answered she advised that the site had closed at 4pm & no one could help.- I was advised that the car would be held over to the next day, I said this was not helpful as I would be 1 ½ hours away at our accommodation & the purpose of the car was to get to our stay & back- I said I didn’t need the car anymore & they could re let the car to someone else.- I had no alterative to made expensive arrangements for transport.- I asked for a refund and was told, bad luck look at the fine print & you need to pick the car up by 4pm – no compromise or any suggestion for a partial refund…- I sent some 6 emails with no reply over 3 weeks.I was patient with this matter and gave Airport Rentals & Jucy every chance to resolve this matter between us both, unfortunately, they just don’t care & pointed to the fine print when they finally got back to me.My recommendation is to use car rental companies with more credibility – Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Budget, etc which are based at the airport – not miles away that they need to come & pick you up.

Super friendly and relaxed service! Picked up a jucy crib for a mini holiday around great ocean road and mt baw baw, and the service was very easy and the crib was very clean and smelled lovely. Got some snow chains fitted mid holiday which was made very quick and efficiently. Cheers Grace for making everything super easy :)

Best value for money. Hired an 8 seater and it was exactly what we needed and price was unbeatable. Staff was super helpful. The whole process from booking to drop-off was a breeze.

Let's face it JUCY is cheap and you kind of get what you pay for. The staff were friendly and efficient, the car was clearly well used with more dents and scratches than I've seen on a rental car in a developed country. Having said this, it was well maintained and didn't give me any troubles on my trip. I was worried about being fleesed for extras on returning the car, but there was none of the aggravation I've experienced from other cheap price providers and the whole experience was positive.It's not really a superior service, so I've not gone 5 stars, but for the cost saving I really can't complain.
