How this Yea chicken shop left us hungry and disappointed - the shocking truth revealed!We came through Yea as part of a roadtrip with the family. We saw multiple shops but thought to go to your chicken shop in hopes we could share the support around. Although the start of our experience with you was pleasant, we were sadly shocked with the result of our lunch. For what we paid, we were quite disappointed and actually left hungry for what we expected would fill us easily for the price.The chicken was okay and the chips were cooked well, however there was an ample amount of space still in our takeaway box once opened.My brother returned to ask for more chips to fill the box, however he was replied to quite rudely and the excuse of a chip shortage" was made without an apology. Chips are really good quality and they puts lots of chicken salt which is great !!Definitely recommend stopping by if your going back to Melbourne or stopping for lunch

I'm never going to ask an opinion to criticize usually, but there, we had one and only choice to order, the person at the reception was not warm, the price oddly on high compared to what the we took, and the food was very basic and not very good.

Stopped in Easter Monday for some mid road trip chippies....was not disappointed. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff were attentive and incredibly welcoming, getting our order to us very quickly. The chips were cooked perfectly and a great amount of salt; the best takeaway chips in Yea. Will be back to try other things

Really grateful travellers given an excellent feed and service. Generous serves. Fantastic waffle chips, chicken and burgers. Don't sleep on Caroline's House of Chicken on your way to/from the snow.

10/10 - hands down the BEST lamb souvlaki I’ve ever eaten. Would recommend, if all the years driving through Yea, I’ve never noticed this take away, will be our go to from now on !!!! Chips were also cooked perfectly with the right amount of chicken salt!!!

Caroline is such a special soul! Only meeting her briefly she is beyond lovely! The food was incredible and at 6pm serving AMAZING coffee!!! Highly recommend thanks for making our day!
