Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking distance to wineries and a cafe. The host goes to a lot of effort with little extras to make the stay special. Highly recommend.

We arrived to a blackboard welcoming us by name on the cottage verandah. Petite accom, clean and cosy. Small vases of fresh flowers, freshly baked bread delivered to the verandah in morning. Central to Coonawarra General Store, Fodder and walking trail wineries. Fresh eggs, juice, cereal, milk, spreads etc, provided. Air conditioner and wood fire. Would reccomend a stay.

Maria and Peter have provided the most wonderful place to stay in Coonawarra.Thoughtful touches include fresh eggs, use of their bbq and delivery of freshly baked bread for breakfast.The cottage is well appointed and comfortable for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of work life.Easy walking to Brand's Laura and Wynn's for tasting and cellar door.For a holiday among the vines, I can't recommend Pyrus Cottage more highly.

Coonawarra's Pyrus Cottage
Perfect place to stay if you are looking at the wineries or the area of the Coonawarra. Loved the combustion heater and the hot bread delivered in the morning. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and would definitely recommend it.

Should have booked for more nights! Quaint cottage in a fantastic location for wine region. Lovely touches like fresh eggs, fruit and bread left by the host. Be aware....no air conditioning.
