Salt Sessions Freediving

Had an amazing experience with Salt Sessions Freediving. The process of registering for the Level 1 course and the learning packages was seamless and the I found their website intuitive to use.Eckart and Ryan were excellent instructors, very professional and made the day relaxing and enjoyable. I was aiming to push myself to new limits and I definitely achieved that but in a very safe and controlled way under great guidance and encouragement from the instructors. Awesome day!!

Eckhart picked up on a few things I was doing wrong when diving immediately and then very genuinely worked with me to rectify and correct it. You could see his passion and eagerness for his students to flourish, I felt safe, looked after and accumulated freediving knowledge I otherwise wouldn’t have without him…highly recommend as he also made it really fun!!

I recently attended the Kilsby Sinkhole Freediving Retreat completing my beginners course with flying colors thanks to Eckart and the rest of the team.I learnt heaps of new skills and information that I have not only implemented into my diving routine but into my weekly routine.Can’t wait to do my advanced and masters.

I had an incredible time at the freediving retreat at Kilsby Sinkhole especially thanks to Eckart and Adam!! Being at the retreat for almost 3 days, gives you so much time to get to know the world of freediving and I thoroughly enjoyed diving with all these amazing people.Even though I had some trouble equalising, Eckart and the other instructors tool their time working with me 1 on 1 and I managed to work out a technique that works for me!Thank you!!!

Joined Eckart and crew at Kilsby Sinkhole for 2 x freediving sessions. They provided one on one coaching sessions for everyone's individual needs, and loads of free time to enjoy the stunning sinkhole with sun rays shining through.Amazing experience, thank you!

Seasickness aside, I had an awesome time completing my Level 1 course with Eckart!Eckart and Liv were extremely helpful in booking my mates and I into our session. The whole process was very flexible and accommodating.The course was great! The zoom night was a nice way to meet everyone and to cover the theory in a relaxed way. The pool session gave us a chance to safely learn how our bodies would respond to freediving, and how to get the most out of every dive. Finally, the boat session pulled everything together and we got the chance to dive for depth!Although seasickness cut my boat session short, I was able to pass the course and learn a lot from Eckart and the other instructors. Listening to their own experiences and getting pointers for my own diving was amazing.I'm keen to join Salt Sessions again for my Level 2 and everything after that!

The Kilsby Retreat was such an amazing experience. The guidance, coaching and education given has set my goals even higher. Can't wait to join another retreat. Thankyou again.

Got to meet Eckart and received quality coaching, instruction and education from Salt Sessions and Adam Sellars from the Pressure Project on the Mar 2023 Kilsby Sinkhole Retreat. Had an awesome time and got to explore the next stage of my freediving journey, completing the advanced freedivers course. There was also so much more than what was on the description - the guys really go above and beyond in making the retreat a unique and worthwhile experience for everyone. Would recommend them highly to anyone thinking of taking the plunge and look forward to the next retreat; practising all my new skills in the mean time!
