The jam and cream donuts are great also I was never a fan of potato top pies but they make some of best. The lady and her daughter are very friendly

What an absolute joke. Went to Hilltop Bakery this morning in hope for a croissant. I arrive and they had some in the cabinet. I order one and go to pay. The lady had the audacity to say to me “don’t you think you should be buying more if you want to pay by card.” I think to myself I must have heard that wrong so I say “sorry, what did you say?” She says “Well you can either buy more, pay by cash or not worry about it.” I proceeded to say “wow, don’t worry about it then.” The lady turned around and went back out the back of the store. There is no signs that advised an eftpos minimum and in the age of coronavirus most reputable businesses are recommending no cash transactions. If my experience today is a glimpse of the attitude the staff have, then to say this business is run poorly is an understatement.

I sometimes stop here if passing around morning tea time for a guilty pleasure of cream bun or Donut with fresh cream and jam. This time I also picked up a sausage roll and unsliced loaf of white bread. Amazing taste and great prices too. The loaf of bread is half finished at 3 days old and still tastes fresh. Lovely cheerful lady behind the counter too. A delight to visit.

Nice little family owned bakery and always friendly, stop in when ever I'm passing by. Reasonably priced and fantastic quality. Little tables out the front to sit and watch the traffic roll past.
