The best option by a country mile for food, bring your thirst as there are more options booze-wise than most metro locals, get tricky on your poison and be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of choice. Stay for a minute or a month, locals are cool, and you can disengage upstairs, depending on how much relaxing matters to you. The beds are large enough for a 6 foot 3 bloke, and the shower pressure is strong, hot and refreshing after blowing the steam off a hard days work or the mornings dustiness from tackling the bar. Check your ego at the door and love this place for what it is, a classic Aussie pub.

This place was amazing. Best Pub on the Golden Highway. Cosy, well restored, friendly and excellent food. Make sure you stop in.

I had one of the best mushroom risotto. I love the fact that the place it’s in the middle of nowhere, and to get fresh food was amazing!I enjoyed a gorgeous sunset and sunrise from the balcony.Erika and Sean and genuinely caring and very welcoming. Really recommend for those that are looking to disconnect.
