Chinchilla Medical Practice

I should have read the reviews before getting there. But we learn from our mistakes.As the others comments, if you go there, try to not see Dr Pujitha. I didn’t have time to explain my issues that he was already asking me to book another appointment because he spent half of the consultation on his computer or over the phone. Not friendly neither, at all.The only star here is for the reception who was lovely and understanding.

One of the doctors that I saw there when I thought I had an ear infection told me nothing barely spoke English. I could not understand him, and he lifted my shirt up without even letting me know or asking. Now this is very normal thing to do, but I felt very violated due to the fact that he did not ask. Will not be going again

Since I was a baby I have gone here and everything has always been all good. Today I rang up to make an appointment some time this week or next week and I was spoken to very rudely, I couldn’t get a word in, I couldn’t ask any questions, and after she was finished talking she hung up very quickly without any other questions or asking me if there was anything else. You will have problems if you don’t fix your customer service.

Receptionists were quite blunt and were not welcoming. Dr pujitha is quite rude and not understanding of one's health issues and is more concerned about himself then his patient's health. Definitely not coming back here. Or at the least..not going to see dr pajitha again. 1 star out of 5 for my experience.

Yesterday i went to see Dr. Pujitha coz my left arm was hurting badly for 3 weeks. I told him what sort of pain it was and also told him that last week I had a palpitation and had gone to the emergency for which ecg came out normal ruling out a heart issue. Next thing he asks me is what do you expect out of this visit and what do you want me to do. I visited him coz of my arm pain and if he asks me what i expect then why would i visit him? If i knew the reason for the pain I wouldn’t have visited him in the first place. Today he calls me and says he is going to give me a cardiologist referral. Yesterday he said it is not a cardiology issue coz the ecg has come out normal. He asked to come and pick the referral in the afternoon. I rush out of work and I go there to see that he has not done any referral. Being a Doctor I expect him to be a lot more professional and learn to respect others time as well. Listen to your patients. They come to you coz they are in distress. If I had the capability of understanding my illness i wouldn’t have come to you in the first place.

We moved to Chinchilla this year.I have required medical attention 3 times.Reception staff could not have been more accommodating & pleasant.I was given appointments that day.Doctors attended my needs & treated appropriately.I have no complaints about this practice & would recommend them to anyone.Grant Stevens

Unfortunately a mistake was made by this practice which created a stressful situation for my partner and I. I understand that sometimes mistakes are made, it was how they dealt with it when the problem was brought to their attention that I found most disappointing.There was no apology or consideration given to how it affects the patient or how we took time off work unnecessarily.We were told that the appointment would still be charged even though it was unnecessary and they were at fault. Just because it doesn't come out of the patients pocket when appointments are bulk billed does not mean there's no charge.This is no reflection on the doctor who attended us.

I am new to Chinchilla and have been to the practice twice. All the staff are very professional and my Dr spent his time really reviewing my symptoms and treating me. Was in no way in a hurry to get me in and out. Both visits ended in a successful outcome.

After my recent visit and having a new doctor that actually cares in my health and making me better I'll quite happily come back when I'm sick. Previous doctor I had totally ignored anything I said. Which ended up being bad flu which turned into pneumonia!
