How the heck did this place get 4 stars???? It’s never open!!!! Hey Why is this place listed as open? They’re either never there or seem unwilling to answer the phone! Door is locked with no sign up saying where they are. I would have given the extra stars but can’t justify 5 stars if they refuse to be around for the public.

Best coffee and vinyl place in town!

I am to this day very glad I walked into Sounds Espresso. From the start I got a good feeling about how passionate Anthony was about his music and making you as a person welcome. He makes a very good coffee too. Whats even better than the great finds I have bought looking through the shop is that I have made a friend in Anthony and feel very much part of things even as a customer. The service goes as far as Anthony letting you know when he gets a record in that he thinks you may like. Also Anthony offers Headphones and Turntables by Audio Technica which are terrific value for money. For those yet to really grasp the whole use and set up of a record player personal service is offered. In this day and age it is hard to find genuine people in business but at Espresso Sounds you will. Five confident stars from me.

Loved the Jamaican and Greek beers on offer the afternoon I was there.

The place is poorly managed. It's a live in family that own the building so there’s no real desire for them to resign to normal business hours or remain open to bring in any curious fan fare. It operates for itself and its own convenience. Either to receive a familiar guest or relative. You might find the wife their weekdays operating the till but she literally knows nothing about dj'ing and would be hard pressed to answer most of your vinyl questions. I remember years ago when they first opened a friend of mine was digging and he found Laid Back - White Horse" on vinyl after an hour. An 80's classic. Tony took it back and refused to sell it. A cardinal sin for people who dig and very amateur rookie shop keeper form. Red flag. I had forgiven Tony since but it's still clear he does what he wants and the shop sadly stays closed for anyone who goes there on a whim. Save your bus money. Go somewhere else."
