Chapter One Dog Training

I can't speak highly enough of Hannah and her dog training business. I would recommend her to anyone. We have been with Hannah since our rottweiler was 8 weeks old (she is now almost 1). Since then we have graduated puppy preschool, then progressed through the Chapter One course and masterclasses. The biggest stand out for me is the continuous support and guidance that Hannah provides. There have been so many occasions I have requested advice from Hannah, and what I recieve is always so prompt and detailed. Setbacks are to be expected with all puppies, and Hannah has always provided great advice and reassurance (because having a puppy IS stressful!). Hannah has a brilliant understanding of dog behaviour, and sets you up for success from day 1. A lot of people don't understand the value and importance in selecting the best trainer for their pup. It is SO important. We couldn't be happier with the progress we have made, and our dog is everything we wanted - calm and confident, with a beautiful nature. Do yourself a favour and choose Chapter One!

After completing the puppy school & Chapter 1 training courses, we highly commend Hannah as a dog trainer! She has been incredibly helpful & friendly through both courses, providing us with more than enough tools & skills for our puppy. Could not recommend her more for anyone welcoming a new fur baby into their family!

Chapter One Dog Training was such a good experience for us and our dog. Hannah is very professional, knowledgeable, warm and approachable. Hannah wants the best out of the training for you and your pup and even though it is group training, you have plenty of opportunity for one on one time and questions that help immediately with each exercise. You can see Hannah is passionate about dogs and dog training and loves to see the pups succeed. Hannah gives practical advice and feedback and we all looked forward to the training each week. We had no idea our dog had so much focus but she really thrived with the tasks. Thank you so much Hannah.

Hannah from chapter one is fantastic. My puppy and I have done several chapter one courses and workshops. Hannah breaks things down so it’s easy to understand and implement and her teaching techniques are next to none. The smaller classes are of the best benefit and she is always available if I have any questions. She is polite and supportive and you would be silly not to check her out.

I highly recommend Hannah to train your dog. She helped us so much with our Golden Retriever puppy. Hannah is patient, calm, really encouraging of pets and owners. Her understanding of dog psychology, the practical tips and tricks, the inventive ways she teaches and her obvious love of dog training are what makes her so fabulous. Thank you, Hannah.

My puppy and I loved the Chapter one training Hannah facilitated. She makes it so easy to understand and apply new skills and makes it all a game which my puppy and I love! I don't think my puppy had any idea she was being trained, it was all a positive and fun experience. Hannah was very supportive between the training days too, when needed, prompt to reply and provide feedback and encouraged us to video our training in action at home which was wonderful!I couldn't find a service that provided this level of expertise and support, am recommending to everyone I know with a new puppy.

6/5 stars! Hannah is such a kind and patient trainer who makes you feel really comfortable, even with the craziest of puppies. My kelpie (Billie) has been through the puppy school and Chapter One obedience and life skills classes with Hannah, and I doubt that she’d be this calm without it! Hannah takes the time with you in each class to make sure you understand the content so you can practice at home. I have found that the class content has been really effective at creating a puppy (now dog) that can handle real-life situations without getting stressed or reactive.I can confidently say Billie wouldn’t be where she is without Hannah’s help!Highly recommend Hannah if you want a stress-free, non-judgemental and very effective experience to train your dog for everyday life :)
