Very disappointing. The pies and cakes used to be amazing but since the change of ownership the quality is gone. They only have chunky steak with various flavors. Hard to chew your way through them. No mince and gravy pies. No fluffy pastry anymore. Coffees good. Cakes are not as nice.

Being a coffee drinker, this is my first stop everyday enroute Lobshole for a cappuccino. Bakery items are good as well. And this is the only place after cooma when you are travelling to Tantangara for grabbing a bite or to have a packed lunch for the day.

Why do places don't display the prices on their menu board. I'm sceptical that the prices are higher than you'd expect. Apart from that, the coffee was great and the pie was a great temperature.

It was a cold day, and nothing is nicer on a cold day than a warm bakery and a good sausage roll, and this was both. Actually an excellent sausage roll - flaky pastry, nicely seasoned, large enough to constitute a meal, one of the best I’ve had. The soy hot chocolate was nice too. Pleasant people at the counter, clean and tidy place, lots of other packaged stuff (like sweets, pickles) as well as a full range of their bakery goods, pastry, etc. Nice to sit at the bench in the window for a quiet bit, though plenty tables for more conversational seating. A tops place to find in a tidy, tiny, little town.

Small pies, apple turnover had a tablespoon of apple mix & the woman behind the counter had an attitude problem. Go to the local servo & you get a better pie & service.

Pies are great however ever 1 of the 3 pies that I ordered was not what I ordered it was spicey and my wife would have not been happy if she got itBut otherwise the pies where good and would definitely stop there again

The Bake House has authentic country-style baked goods which will bring back happy childhood memories. We opted for pies and sauce which were delicious. The coffee was rich and creamy - unexpected quality so far from any big town. Generous cakes, scones, slices and cream buns were on display ... which to choose? If you're in the Snowy mountains, do yourself a favour and detour to Adaminaby!!
