A very difficult refund on something i didn't want and didn't order. Had to speak to supplier directly to solve a simple issue Power Garden Machinery should have done themselves. Argumentative management Informed me after that my deposit was not refundable and a 25 percent restock fee would apply. Supplier offered to give full refund inc shipping to shop, and they still refused to give me a refund until they had cash back ftom supplier. They finally gave me my massive thirty dollar deposit back after further jumping up and down. Never had this much problem with such a simple issue that wasn't even an issue. Glad it wasn't for something worth thousands.

Took my ride on mower for a service last week and picked it up yesterday and have to say it was the best Service my mower has had. The staff know their stuff and do work to a high standard, would have to say there showroom is the best stocked in the highlands with quality products I am from Sydney with a property down here so i know I will be looked after in the future Thank you guys I will be back.

I recently put my weed trimmer in for a simple repair. Air filter and cover. They were busy so my job was written for 2 weeks. A month went by and I had heard nothing. I went in on a Friday to ask what had happened. They could not find my job note but I saw my trimmer hanging on the wall. They walked around asking each other questions then finally admitted that my job had been completely overlooked. I was told that my trimmer would be looked at first thing Monday and I would be rung. No phone call. Tuesday, no call. I rang. I was told oh ok well your trimmer is not starting and there is scoring on the bore and it's probably not worth fixing. I said I only asked for an air filter and cover (about $15) and that the trimmer was starting just fine and that you had asked me that question when I first dropped the machine off and I had said it's starting fine. I then said look just put the filter on and if it needs a new fuel cap then do that. I was again told ok will do that first thing Wednesday morning and ring you to come and pick it up. Again no phone call. I went in. After having to say who I was again my trimmer had still not been fixed. I was told to come back in 20 minutes as they would put the parts on now. I went and came back. I stood waiting for another 20 minutes. Again they asked who I was. The trimmer was bought out. I was charged$98. $48.50 in parts and $49.50 in labour. I was happy to pay the parts but questioned the labour. The owner asked me if I go to work for free. He then pointed out the price note on the wall outlining $99/ hr and that humans make mistakes. I commented that at no stage over the month did anyone offer an apology for the numerous oversights. Mistakes are made but I apologies for mine. The owner claimed that I didn't give him a chance. To which I replied that I had rung twice been in 3 times and stood today for 20 minutes in the shop waiting for my trimmer and not one of the 3 people involved said a thing except that they would be glad if I didn't come back.Really poor service, they trimmer came home and started just fine after being told it was not worth fixing. It took nearly 5 weeks for what ended up being 30 minutes work...
