I've never been ripped off so badly. These photos make the portion sizes look bigger than they are. Never have I been served a flake this tiny and paid full price. That potato cake is the smallest excuse of a potato I've seen and $2.50??? Really? For reference, that fish was about 3 bites, thin and overcooked anyway. I've been to hunky dory in other places and it's always good but this is pathetic.

Really delicious and good portion sizes. The grill pack ($18.50) is great if you’re watching your carbs. The accompanying salad is fresh and generous too. Great atmosphere looking out onto the mall. Really like it.

It is always tasty and full of flavour with a generous portion. Sometimes staff are not great i mean very calm and quiet. Loved the salad and chips and burgers as well. Food looks great and tasty all the time.

Since posting this review, the manager contacted me and was extremely professional and apologetic, provided us with a meal on a day of our choice and gifted doughnuts and drinks as an apology. The meal was delicious, as always. Thankyou Haisa for your prompt professional response.

Hunky Dory is always one of the best fish and chips.But the surprise was the veg burger, to which I'd give 10/10.They have a few new additions for the vegetarian and vegan people.

Just had the prawn saganaki that they recently introduced. It was delicious. Also highly recommend the flake. It’s is possibly the freshest I have ever had. The service was fantastic (especially George who made us feel so welcome) we will definitely be going back again and again.

Fish and chip was delicious. Fresh fish. Would prefer to go with grilled fish next time instead of usual fried ones. Calamari was perfectly cooked..soft!

OMG - I was walking down Eaton Mall and saw the sign for “Orthodox Easter Fasting” with the offering of Chargrilled Calamari with Rice, Chips & Salad… and all I’m going to say is - don’t think about it, just get it! You won’t regret it!! By far the most tender and fresh calamari I have ever had!!
