Had dinner tonight. Place was small & cosy. Bit tricky to find the place as you would not find the name Kko Kko Balinese in the building directory. So it is the same place as Messenger Cafe.Owner is really nice & responsive to feedback. Staff is friendly too. We tried the Banjar Meal. It is a sampling Platter (1/4 Taliwang chicken, 3pcs chicken satay + peanut sauce, 1pcs charcoal beef rib, side summer salad, sambal & choice of chips or steam rice. We also ordered Jimbaran Charcoal Fish.The food was tasty. the charcoal beef rib was really tender & delicious. The chicken taliwang was also good. You can choose the level of spiciness. The sambal was tasty & really spicy. And we also like the charcoal fish. the sauce and the fish were so tasty. Recommended to have the food with rice and not the chips :)

I really enjoyed this Balinese feast in the heart of Pyrmont! The staff are so friendly, and it's a whole experience with the Nasi Goreng being set alight at the table!Authentic flavours and tender chicken, highly recommend!

First night in Sydney, and honestly I don’t know if anything food wise can top this, we told them we are from Queensland and they were so kind and understanding and helpful to us, we love the service, the food and the experience and the price is so good as well I highly recommend this place! Thank you for the amazing experience and the loveliest and sweetest staff :) ❤️❤️❤️

Delicious authentic Indonesian food! This place is one of the best Indonesian cuisines in Sydney. Both portion and pricing are really great. The way the food is presented is simply beautiful. Would recommend to anyone, especially to those whom want to try this cuisine!The service is exceptional too, they know how to make everyone feel important and special, a rare trait in the hospitality industry nowadays.

KKO KKO Balinese Chicken
The restaurant is on the lower floor of the building, outside the grocery store. The chicken was amazing! I particularly loved the satay skewers with the peanut sauce and rice. Spice levels are customizable. The hostess was very friendly and always open to suggestions or feedback, which let us know that they really care about putting out the best possible food!

We arrived in the evening! The ambience was great! And the service was very good. They were super hospitable and made it comfortable for us to order.When we ordered the food came out 15 mins later it was semi fast service even though it was busy.The food was so tasty! Definitely recommend this place. It was challenging to find parking, my best advice would be to catch the tram and walk to the restaurant.

This place is hidden right next to coles on the lower ground level.We ordered satay chicken and beef ribs. Both menu items were packed full of flavour and really delicious! We can’t wait to come back to try the chicken and cassava chips.
