Wonderland Cottages Grampians

We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy! Hired two cottages next to each other to cater for our group. Cottages placed in a lovely setting. Clean and comfortable. Loved the kangaroos bouncing around the cottages early in the mornings. Matt and Danny were a pleasure to deal with from the start, easy and prompt communication and happy to offer advice around any questions we had. Loved our Wonderland Cottages / Halls Gap / Grampians experience! A very busy / popular tourist destination. Halls Gap and the Grampians were very busy tourist destinations which was a bit challenging in the sense of parking at the various tourist sites and getting into local cafes and restaurants so it was lovely to have such a beautiful serene place to return to each night and wake up to each morning. Thanks Matt and Danny!

A great little getaway. Immaculately clean and a perfect location backing onto the national park. We arrived on a very hot day and hosts Matt and Danny were so thoughtful ensuring our comfort. They prepared the unit with the air conditioner on, and the blinds drawn to keep it cool and provided suggestions of swimming locations via text message when we were en route. Plenty of kangaroos for the kids to enjoy on the property. It was also wonderful to see their sustainability initiatives including Zero Co products.

We stayed in the Acacia cottage and it was just gorgeous!! everything you need for if you want to stay in, and great floor plan. It was amazing being able to see animals from our cottages.the location is perfect, a 10 minute walk gets you into the town. the hosts were fantastic and put a lot of effort into providing lots of detail about hikes, restaurants, the property & anything else!we came with our one year old & they provided us with a high chair and offered a portacot too.

Simply wow! One of the best places to stay on our trip to Australia. Our cottage was lovingly decorated, it was very clean, had enough space and perfect facilities. The beds are a dream, we slept very well. Plus the wonderful air from the Grampians, birds and numerous kangaroos right at and around the cottage. We felt very comfortable with Matt and Danny. The surroundings with various walks are impressive. If you are travelling to the Grampians and looking for accommodation in Halls Gap, you should not miss Wonderland Cottages!

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of accommodation, given it is marketed as 'basic'. The wood fire is nice touch at the end of the day exploring the grampians. We will be back for sure!

Stayed at Wonderland cottages for 1 night and it was absolutely perfect! Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Short walk to cafes, shops and walking tracks and Matt was very helpful about walking track ideas. The location is stunning with so much wildlife. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing get awayWe arrived at Wonderland Cottages late, on a very warm evening. Matty & Danny responded promptly to our communications. They gave us easy directions and access to out cabin. After a long & tiring drive it was lovely arriving at our well appointed cabin, with the A/C on. There was nothing to do but walk straight in & start relaxing. The cabin was lovely and clean, the surroundings were peaceful, I loved waking up to the laughter of the kookaburras and it’s only a beautiful short walk to the Main Street, what more could you ask for. Appreciated Maddy’s suggestion of the licorice ice cream at Coolas, it was delicious!!

Our stay at Wonderland Cottages was most satisfying. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They had prepared 2 very informative compendiums that were comprehensive and extremely informative. As we were most interested in walking they provided detailed descriptions of the walks, how to get there and what to expect. Matt the host was on hand to answer any questions and to provide further clarification if needed. The cottages provided everything we needed with lovely eco- friendly products. They were also tidy and comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay again. The cost was reasonable too.

The perfect place to stay for our 4 night getaway! Facilities and rooms were great while at the footstep of the beautiful landscape of the Grampians. We even got to make friends and have dinner near the local Roos! Would recommend for anyone looking to get away and experience the best of what the Grampians and Victoria has to offer.
