The friendly service depends on who you find in there. The younger bloke is very good, but not the old grumpy one, who thinks Africans do not eat quality meat. It has a lot to do with with race as you said and I quote; '' I don't know what you do in Africa with your meat, but not here with our meat!'' I must let you know that I know quality meat when I see it and I worked in meat sector for a while plus my taste buds are great, not cryovaced ones though.

The butchers here are second to none. They will go above and beyond their clients needs when it comes to trimming or cutting a particular type of meat. They also offer sound advice regarding their cuts and the way in which you wish to cook it. Their service is honestly unchallenged on the Eastern shore.They also have a range of smaller goods to get you out of a jam such as eggs and milk!

Best meat, the dried steaks are very popular and well worth the wait. Very friendly people with great services.

I've been a regular, frequent customer at Mundy's for the past 14 years. The quality of the meat is second to none plus Bob and Dean Mundy make a great range of (award winning) sausages, smallgoods and, I reckon the best ham steaks I've ever eaten! The service couldn't be more friendly and they know their meat and how it can be cooked. There's always a new cut or a new line of meat, seafood and other items you don't see in most suburban butcher's shops. They do outstanding Christmas hams; they carry duck and try their best to source special items. Handy too because they carry a small range of grocery items, milk, butter etc for those times you forgot to finish your shopping list. All round outstanding!
