Steel-Line Garage Doors Melbourne - Campbelfield

I called them Many times and they say that they cannot hear me but my phone has only been one week old. My phone works fine. SO they forced me to drive to them all the way to Campbellfield to present him the check. They forced me to pay on the phone by credit card but I said no because its not safe, most calls are recorded. They were very rude. Till this day nothing has been installed. I called them again and asked them what happen to my order they said they cant find it. After 1 hour they told me they found sorry about that and said the managers going to call me back. I waited 1 week and I never got called back. So I called them back and told them I am going to put this matter to ASIC and consumer affair, I have been waiting 5 months and have paid and I cant store my care safely in my garage or use it at all. I have been let down.

Useless serviceTried to contact them many times. Never got a chance to talk to someone. The reception lady offered a call back from someone who knows about the products; but never received a call back.Just a waste of time!!!!!

Came with our new build. Broke after 3 years of use. Only 12 months' manufacturer's warranty. They quoted $150 just to come out and have a look. (This was after not even being able to get in touch with our local branch... had to keep calling).Wound up going with another garage door repair whose call out fee was $50. He replaced our garage door motor with another brand. New garage door motor is working great so far. He had it fixed in a few hours.

I’ve had our new garage door now for over 6 months and I waited to post this review to see if there were any issues. The garage door is working perfectly and the installation and service were excellent. It was a very demanding installation with the following issues: 1) only 150 mm clearance when the minimum requirement is 180mm. 2) one wall was 90 degrees but the other was less meaning the double brick wall had to be modified and the brackets were individually modified to suit. 3) the floor was level for the first half then sloped 10mm down. I requested numerous quotes and the complexity of the job resulted in a lot declining to quote. Of those that did quote, their level of detail was insufficient and would have resulted in a bad result. The challengers I put to Steel Line were handled very professionally and we are extremely satisfied with the result and therefore we are very happy to recommend them.

Absolutely amazing. Great price for the quality of the door being provided,with the service to back it. Good old fashioned service!!!I couldn't speak any higher of these guys they were awesome right from the quote to finished product.Love your work!!!

In response to Steel-Lines reply on google below, I emailed them twice and have not heard anything back at all, continues to reinforce the poor service of this company. Zero stars.Purchased a new shed through a great company which included a 5m wide Steel-Line roller door. It arrived with a heap of dints through the middle areas which have clearly been caused during the rolling up / manufacturing process and Steel-Line won’t replace it, won’t be purchasing anything from this company ever again.

Was off to a shaky start as I felt I wasn't being helped or listened to. However in all fairness to steel line doors I was contacted today regarding my issue from Campbelfield. Very professional and helpful and my spare parts are being delivered today. Thank you, I appreciate the help. The personal contact has made me revise my initial review.

Thank you Steel-Line for replacing our 20 year old garage door. Other manufacturers had indicated that it could not be done because of the low headroom. I remember their salesman Sam shaking his head whilst providing a simple solution of providing a matching colorbond head infill. Sam also suggested removing the ugly existing supports from the walls and to hang much smaller supports from the ceiling. His professionalism, suggestions and attention to detail were second to noneSteel Line did the job within the short lead time with no extras. The installer was friendly and went through the instructions and remotes. He even cleaned up afterwards. We only wish that all the other trades doing our renovation were as professional as the team at Steel-Line.Danny and Mary

Bought a door last year. Finally arrived and was met with poor service and disinterest. Continually asked for money before installation contrary to what's on the order.Train your people better and introduce them to customer service principles. Will never recommend you !
