Murwillumbah District Hospital

We moved from Sydney 15 years ago and over those years all of our family have been to this hospital for one reason or another, I have to say every time without fail we have been treated with the best of care. Recently my wife was in for covid and a bad cough, the nurses were great and the doctor could not have been more thorough. These guys do care.

Shout out to the women in the birthing centre! Chantelle was the most amazing midwife. Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout my pregnancy.

From the moment I arrived and checked in to the time I checked out - the exceptional care and efficiency from every person on the hospital team was very evident and welcome. And with a minimum of fuss. The after op food and care was great too. A fantastic hospital they have at Murwillumbah.

I had surgery here today and everybody I interacted with was so kind and caring. The best care I have ever received at a hospital. Thank you so much to everyone :-)

I was transferred from Tweed hospital after total Knee replacement.I cannot praise the staff more at this hospital.Everyone from kitchen staff,wards men,nurses and physio were exceptional.Always helpful.The hospital has a country feel and welcoming.

I had the best of care. At the emergency they were very talkative and friendly and made me feel at home. In the surgical ward the nurses were so helpful and kind. The visiting doctor was very thorough. I guess also i was not a high needs patient. However if my husband were to write his experiences, it would not be as glowing as mine. At the surgery he was well spoken to and looked after. Unfortunately at the ward, terrible. He was mot even told that he was staying the night. Neither did they phone me. I just witnessed, he can't move after the operation and yet was not provided with a buzzer to call for help. He asked for water and they told him the water will vome later with the tea server, when he's expected to drink lots. These are the facts.
